My MD thinks she has developed entire Microsoft System

Recently I got migration project, there are some excel macros and they need to be migrated to SQL and .Net based application which is already existing. There are like 5 lakh formulas to be migrated, and around 20 macros to be moved. She is expecting us to finish this like in 3-4 days along with design and implementation plan.

I have never had good experience with Non technical managers here in Deloitte. They think they are above everyone. Doing s*it politics and getting promoted to Manager and above.

Interview blitz

Friday I was contacted on LinkedIn by a Deloitte recruiter, set up a talk for Monday and then quickly had all 3 interviews in one morning. It's a manager level role and I bring strong experience ima niche sector. I was surprised to interview so quickly. All 3 people were really nice and the role sounds interesting.

Then I go online and see so many people's comments about how it's all bill bill bill, lots of PTO but hard to use it. Also seems like it might require lots of travel hours. I value a meaningful interesting career but also value my personal time.

Salary range on the role sure sounded nice. Now it's the waiting game but am unsure what to think atm assuming an offer comes in

I’m not sure if I’m being misled by my boss, or if the issue is actually on my side.

My leader often blocks me from fully participating in discussions and does not consistently provide all the necessary information. Even when I complete my tasks, I am sometimes redirected with guidance that later turns out to be incorrect.

When things align with his expectations, everything is fine. However, when issues arise, the responsibility is shifted to me.

I shared this situation with one of my colleagues to get some perspective. He told me that “my leader is quite pride-driven, tends to look down on me, and that I need to perform better to gain his recognition.” However, he was not able to provide any concrete or practical advice.

This made me feel even more discouraged, as the focus shifted from the actual issue of incorrect guidance to a judgment about my capability.

I am honestly feeling very exhausted, and this situation is seriously affecting my motivation and overall well-being at work.

Overall, this pattern makes it difficult for me to work effectively and leaves me feeling both confused and unfairly evaluated.

3 months Senior Manager thinking to quit

Newly hired SM in commercial and completed 3 months with only 5% Util. Engaged in multiple clients projects and business development but not translating to billable hours due to pricing issues and roles going to the USI. Most SMs, PMDs say 1st year is sort of okay but need to catch up..what does that mean?

USA Consulting Performance Raise

If I’m an analyst with E/E/E but don’t get promoted, what do you think my % increase will be? And if I do get promoted what do you think it’ll be? I currently make 90k. Anyone know from past experiences?

Maternity Benefits / Doula Coverage

Does anyone know what extra maternity/post partum benefits Deloitte offers outside of our health coverage in the USA?

Im interested in a doula service and cant get a clear answer if there are any benefits for this. I tried calling Bright Horizons and it just connects me with a nurse- who does not know the benefits. I see a brochure on DNet that includes Maven maternity benefits but there’s no contact number for them directly.

Need help deciding between two offers.

Hello Everyone,

I accepted an offer at Deloitte's technology and performance practice (think SAF, ServiceNow, Oracle etc..), with a decent salary relative to where I currently live (Canada). However, I received another offer for a small firm that does treasury consulting, and the salary is slightly higher (and i believe salary progression is much better than deloitte). I am wondering on how i should approach chosing between the two.

The work at the small firm is more in line with my interests than tech&performance(treasury is closer to my background in finance), but i wonder from a long-term career if tech&performance makes more sense / opens more doors.

Thank you very much for your time!

TLDR: New grad trying to decide whether to go with Deloitte or a much smaller firm. Need advice on how to approach the decision.

Deloitte interview delay – common?

I completed my second-round interview for an F&O Technical Consultant role at Deloitte over two weeks ago. My application status still shows “Interview in Progress,” and I haven’t heard back even after reaching out to HR.

At this point, is it fair to assume rejection, or are delays like this common?

Would appreciate insights from anyone who has gone through a similar situation.

Background check taking over 6 weeks

They a started background check beginning of March and it has now moved to internal review. I have never had a check take this long. There's a descrepency they found where my past employer claims I'm still working there. They have my HR resignation letter, my last W2, and my last paystub, I'm not quite sure what else they need for me to prove I'm not double dipping.

Is this a normal issue? How long have others experienced hires with discrepancies like this had to wait?

Need serious suggestions and advice.

I’m currently working in Deloitte USI in an HR Operations role and honestly feeling a bit stuck and lost.

I have around 3 years of experience now, but my salary is still around 4 LPA, and growth feels very slow. The work is mostly operational case handling, coordination, repetitive tasks and while I’ve tried to go beyond (process improvements, some analytics work, supporting initiatives), it doesn’t seem to translate into meaningful career progression or compensation.

What’s bothering me more is seeing people around me (especially in tech roles) growing much faster, both in skills and salary. It makes me question whether I’m in the wrong track or if I’ve stayed too long in operations.

I don’t think I lack capability I actually enjoy problem-solving, data, and structured thinking but I feel like my current role doesn’t fully use that, and I’m not sure how to break out of this loop.

i tried applying outside even but only getting rejections.

Just feel like a looser and loosing hope everyday.

Has anyone been in a similar situation ?

What would you suggest as the most practical way to transition out and increase earning potential?

Would really appreciate honest advice.

Deadline to Submit Claims on the InnovAge ($INNV) Settlement is November 5

Hey guys, if you missed it, InnovAge ($INNV) settled $27 million with investors over claims it misled them about the quality of care and regulatory compliance at its healthcare centers following its IPO. And the deadline to file a claim and get payment is tomorrow, November 5, 2025.

In a nutshell, in 2021, InnovAge went public promoting its care model as compliant and high-quality. But later that year, regulators uncovered serious deficiencies, including poor staffing and treatment delays, leading to enrollment suspensions in key centers. $INNV dropped over 78%, and investors sued over misleading statements about care quality.

Now, the good news is that InnovAge agreed to a $27 million settlement, and investors have until tomorrow, November 5, 2025, to submit their claims.

So, if you invested in $INNV when all this happened, you can check the details and file your claim here.

Anyway, has anyone here invested in $INNV at that time? How much were your losses, if so?

Interview in Germany (IT/ServiceNow) – my German is not great, what should I expect?

Hey everyone,

I have an interview soon for a ServiceNow Consultant role in Germany 🤩🤩(Deloitte), and I’m a bit unsure about my German level.🥲💀

I speak English well, but my German is still not strong. I think I’m around A2/B1. I’ve been learning every day (doing Nico’s Weg B1 right now) and I practice speaking daily, but my grammar is still messy and I make mistakes.

I can explain simple things and have basic conversations, but I’m definitely not fluent.

So I wanted to ask:

  • Is it realistic to get hired in Germany for this kind of IT consulting role with this level of German?
  • In real projects, how much German do you actually use vs English?
  • In interviews, do they expect you to speak correctly, or is it more about understanding and trying?

Also if you were in my position, what would you focus on in the next 1–2 weeks before the interview?

I’m really motivated to improve and move to Germany, just trying to understand where I stand.

Thanks 🙂

Question on Benefits - Partnerships with Au Pair Agencies?

I'm evaluating options for childcare, and I'm very interested in hosting an au pair. Some agencies have partnerships with companies that offer discounts or subsidies for an au pair as a benefit.

I'm waiting for a final offer from Deloitte for an SM role (GPS) and wondering if Deloitte has such a benefit or perquisite?
