I’m not sure if I’m being misled by my boss, or if the issue is actually on my side.

My leader often blocks me from fully participating in discussions and does not consistently provide all the necessary information. Even when I complete my tasks, I am sometimes redirected with guidance that later turns out to be incorrect.

When things align with his expectations, everything is fine. However, when issues arise, the responsibility is shifted to me.

I shared this situation with one of my colleagues to get some perspective. He told me that “my leader is quite pride-driven, tends to look down on me, and that I need to perform better to gain his recognition.” However, he was not able to provide any concrete or practical advice.

This made me feel even more discouraged, as the focus shifted from the actual issue of incorrect guidance to a judgment about my capability.

I am honestly feeling very exhausted, and this situation is seriously affecting my motivation and overall well-being at work.

Overall, this pattern makes it difficult for me to work effectively and leaves me feeling both confused and unfairly evaluated.
