Help!

Hi I’m 20F b.com graduate with acca(10/13). I feel lost, just failed my second attempt of sbr and I don’t know what to know. And now how to apply for MNC. I even try referrals but didn’t work. I feel so devastated like nothing is working for me.

Broke fresher trying to crack Big 4 + top finance firms — need guidance (and maybe a referral 👀)

Hey Reddit,

I’m a final-year B.Com (ACCA track) student trying to break into the big leagues as a fresher — and yeah, I know the competition is brutal, so I’m here for real, unfiltered advice.

Targeting companies like:

Deloitte | PwC | EY | KPMG | Accenture

JP Morgan Chase | Goldman Sachs | Morgan Stanley | HSBC | Blackstone | Bain

Roles I’m aiming for:

• Audit / Assurance

• Consulting

• Finance / Analyst roles

• Risk / Advisory

What I bring to the table:

• ACCA (Professional level in progress)

• Strong accounting + finance fundamentals

• Willing to grind hard (not just saying it, actually ready for it)

Where I need help:

• What actually gets you shortlisted as a fresher? (skills > buzzwords pls)

• What should I prioritize right now to stand out?

• Any certifications / internships / projects that genuinely matter?

• And… if anyone here is working in these firms and open to referrals, I’d seriously appreciate it

Not looking for motivational gyaan just practical steps that work in the real world.

Help a fresher not stay unemployed 🤝
