Looking for Romance anime but slightly picky
Ok so i need some recommendations for Romance anime, just to like give a bit of an idea. My favorite of all time is Toradora (Sentimental lol) but my top 5 is this
Clannad, Oregairu, Nisekoi (manga) Lovely complex, and Teasing master takagisan.
Yamada's first time, maid sama, kamisama kiss, my little monster, tonikawa, gamers, Love is war, and Golden time i love too.
So basically i am looking for any new good ones i haven't watched, i don't want anything like school days with cheating or just shit i guess lol. I don't mind Harem, or Ecchi, i have seen it all but i would really love something like the ones i mentioned. Best if dubbed also.
Thanks in Advance:)
Plz recommend me fantasy|medieval setting|adventure. Isekai/level up/world building type stuff.
I've mostly watched isekai and feel like I've seen most of it, but also like normal adventure stuff. No horror. Maybe there is something I've missed or haven't heard of.
Milky☆Subway: The Galactic Express – The Movie is officially coming to Netflix worldwide on June 1
x.comWho else misses anime fillers?
I know a lot of people complain about fillers, but I actually sort of miss them. Some of the fillers added to the story.
For example, I liked the Bleach Sword Spirit filler arc and the Naruto Anko’s past filler arc.
Yes a lot of fillers were ridiculous (like the Naruto Ostrich Ninja and Mecha Naruto) and other fillers basically killed the show (the Bleach Bount Arc), but I feel like I have a soft spot for them. Anime is so concise now and for the most part sticks to the manga pretty well which has it’s good side too.
Does anyone else miss fillers?
I cant believe it
The help and support is an absolute joke. how many times do i have to tell them im being logged into some random persons account, they keep saying "yeah lets change your email" that wont help this.

like i legit have get popped into someone else's account and they just don't understand it its been a month. and they still just don't watch the video i sent them showing what happens
Good romance anime’s where the main characters get together MID SEASON?
I’m tired of anime’s where it takes 1-2 entire seasons for the MC to get together with the main romance. Toradora was amazing and they basically got together mid season, but I’ve had trouble finding any romance anime’s as good or with mid season dating, any recommendations?
game type or flashy power scaling anime?
i really love solo levelling, and i searched for similar animes and ended up watching cheat skill & failure frame, i wouldn't say they were horrible but the animation was horrible in failure frame.. so i was hoping if any1 could help me find animes where the MC keeps levelling up/getting stronger and climbs to the top or maybe MC getting sent to another world and he becomes unmatched?
something like shangri la frontier also works
How long does it take to watch an anime?
#Too long; didn’t read: Divide the number of episodes 2.67
A regular episode of anime is about 24 minutes. Sometimes they are 23:40 and sometimes it's 24:10, but it usually works out to about 24 minutes per episode.
If you simply divide 60 (the number of minutes in an hour) by 24 you get 2.5. If you divide the number of episodes (like say: 12) by 2.5 you should get up the number of hours it would take to watch the show continuously. In the case of 12 it would be 4.8. This works fine enough, but we can refine that further.
OPs and EDs are 90 seconds each, so both together are 3 minutes. If you skip all OPs and EDs all the time that would be 21 minutes per episode. 60/21 is 2.857142 . If you watch all OPs and skip all EDs, or vice versa, or do half and half of each that would be 22.5 minutes (22.5 is the mean average of 21 and 24) which leads to 2.666 (repeating of course) which we can safely round to 2.67. This last example is my personal behavior and the behavior of a lot of people i know, and i imagine the behavior of a lot of people who watch anime so it is the primary divisor i use.
Let’s look at some examples:
A 12 episode anime would take ~4.49 hours to watch. (12/2.67=4.49438)
A 26 episode anime would take ~9.74 hours to watch. (26/2.67=9.7378)
A 148 episode anime would take ~55.43 hours to watch. (148/2.67=55.430711610)
anime with decent quality animation that isn't afraid to be gore-heavy?
The only one I've watched like that is hunter×hunter, but i think that's like an ideal example. Something that has a little less gore or less quality than hxh works too.
The only thing is that I want it to have a good plot, so something like solo leveling im not a fan of
I haven’t quite found that feeling Code Geass gave me
I’ve watched a few anime’s since with great protagonists but Code Geass just hit so different to me. Had me in a never ending rollercoaster. Outside of death note, Monster and Psycho pass not many reached the levels. Anyone have an anime with the kinda strategy warfare and school life dynamic what code geass gave to me. I need a protagonist who’s fighting for the right cause.
Anime theme songs in Japanese done by non East Asian artists
It goes without saying that most anime theme songs are in Japanese, and performed by Japanese musicians. However, we also have some South Korean musicians performing Japanese versions of their existing song and used as an anime theme song or making an original song in Japanese and are given tie-ins to an anime. We would also have songs from western musicians that are sung in English like the OneRepublic songs for Kaiju no. 8, This Fffire for Cyberpunk Edgeru ners or the Backstreet Boys songs in Harada Shounen-shi.
But what about songs from non-East Asian musicians that are in Japanese and used as an anime theme song? How many of them do exist, anyway? AFAIK, some of the non-Japanese Hololive talents have done this, such as Mori Calliope's songs for Gachiakuta and Patlabor EZY, FUWAMOCO's latest song for the latest season of Reborn as a Vending Machine, and a cover of We Go by some Hololive talents used as the theme song for the remastered version of One Piece's Fishman Island arc. There's also Beverly, a Filipino singer based in Japan whose songs were used for Fairy Tail, Azur Lane, Fruits Basket (the new one), and also the last Pokemon feature film in the Ash/Satoshi era, Secrets of the Jungle.
Are there more songs like that?
Can't Find The Moomin Anime (Tanoshii Moomin Ikka) 1990 English Sub (Original Jappanese Audio With Subtitles) Help!
So funny story, my comfort show just disappeared out of the blue. How does that make me feel? Not great.
For context, I've been watching The Moomin Anime from 1990 on a site that I can't name, for quite sometime.
Why? Mostly for convenience sake, I also wanted to save money from the expenses that come with streaming services now a days. However, I have just now discovered that long story short, it's most likely gonna be shut down for good or won't be back up anymore, same with other websites that stream obscure anime for free. Due to this fact, I can't access the episodes! I could try crunchy roll sure, but from my understanding this show is hard AF to find. It's not on Amazon Prime it's not on Netflix, nothing, no dice!
Does anybody know where I can find The Moomin Anime in the original Japanese audio with decent subtitles? I tried going to the official YouTube channel but they only have the English dub; Which I already HATE because characters such as Little My sound like a grown woman when from my understanding SHE'S A CHILD. I also tried to see if there was an option for Japanese audio with English subtitles and nothing showed up.
When I tried to find the anime on internet archive it only had episodes from 1 to 14, if there are more episodes I can't find them.
So please, if anyone has any sites or links (ideally ones that are safe to use), that could let me watch this show in the original Japanese audio (WITH ENGLISH SUBTITLES), please respond. If all of the episodes in the original Japanese language with subtitles are on internet archive please let me know and help me find it!
My takes as someone who started watching anime 6 months ago
JJK:
The first anime I started watching was Jujutsu Kaisen, and after about 6 months of watching anime, I still really love it. I really like the power system and the animation, but I can understand why some people think it’s overhyped.
9/10
Hunter x Hunter:
So far, this seems like the best-written anime I’ve watched. I just got past the “video game” arc (Greed Island), which honestly might be my least favorite arc so far — not bad at all, just weaker compared to the others. Still really good though, if that makes sense. I hope it gets even better from here because I haven’t finished it yet.
9.5/10
MHA:
I really like the worldbuilding in My Hero Academia. Season 3 was okay, and I just started Season 4. I’ve heard Seasons 4 and 5 get weaker before it gets better near the end. So far, I’d say it’s above average, but I’d probably put it around the same level as the first part of Naruto from what I’ve watched.
8/10
Demon Slayer:
Demon Slayer is awesome. I just started the very last season, and everything from the art style to the simple but really strong story and great characters makes it feel like an anime that will definitely be looked back on as a classic. It’s also a great starter anime for anyone trying to get into anime, even though I’m only 6 months into anime myself lol.
9/10
Gachiakuta:
This is one of my favorite newer-gen anime so far. I really like how unique the characters feel compared to other stuff I’ve watched. I like the story, the characters, and especially the power system they’ve set up so far. I honestly don’t see enough people talking about it — it feels really underrated if you ignore the weird fandom.
9/10
Hell’s Paradise:
I’ve really liked this one so far. I don’t hear many people talk about it, but I love the story, and Gabimaru the Hollow is one of the more interesting MCs from the newer-gen anime I’ve watched. I’m on Season 2 right now but haven’t finished it yet.
8.5/10
Fire Force:
Maybe I’m crazy, but I don’t really like the first two episodes so far. It feels kind of generic, and I don’t really like the power restrictions they’ve set up yet. The animation is great though. I’ll have to watch a few more episodes before I decide how I really feel about it.
?/10
Devil May Cry: (I know it’s not considered anime now)
I started watching it about 3 weeks ago. It’s okay. I saw a lot of stuff about it on TikTok, but honestly, I’m on the second season and don’t really like it that much. I do love the art style though.
5/10
Akudama Drive:
I really liked it at the beginning. I just wish it had more episodes and became a full series because the ending felt a little rushed. Other than that, I loved the animation and storytelling, especially early on. I just wish it was longer.
8/10
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners:
I know a lot of people love this one. I haven’t finished it yet, but I really like the story. I honestly don’t know why I stopped watching it because it was really good.
?/10
Black Lagoon:
Don’t get me wrong — it’s not some insanely well-written masterpiece or anything, but I’ve really enjoyed it so far. I watched the first season, and I know there isn’t much left in the second season. I really like the characters, and I kind of like how unfiltered it feels compared to most anime I’ve watched. It felt like a breath of fresh air.
8/10
Bleach:
I just started watching the original 2004 anime, and so far it feels really slow-paced — honestly slower than Naruto. But I’ve heard it gets way better as it goes on, so I’m definitely giving it more of a chance.
?/10
Naruto:
I finished the original Naruto. I hated how much filler there was in the last couple of seasons, and because of that I haven’t really sat down to watch Naruto Shippuden yet. Overall, I think Naruto is okay, but maybe that’s because I haven’t watched the second part yet. I don’t know if it gets much better after that.
?/10
One Piece:
I’ve heard so much about One Piece, but I honestly don’t know if I can bring myself to watch something that feels like it never ends. Over 1000 episodes is insane. Maybe there’s something wrong with me, but it feels impossible to catch up at this point. Let me know if I should still give it a chance.
?/10
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure:
The first episode was really confusing to me, but maybe I’m just dumb lol. I hear people talk about it all the time though, so I’m definitely going to give it more of a chance. I literally just started watching it today.
?/10
What should I watch next based on what I’ve seen so far? I’m open to any recommendations.
