(Females Only) Private Bedroom Available In Brooklyn For $1200 Monthly Including Utilities. Move In Next Month.

A lovely room is available in a 2-bedroom apartment in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. It can be delivered furnished or unfurnished depending on length of stay.

The apartment has tall ceilings and oversized windows that allow for a million rays of sunlight. It comes with a full-sized bed, a small dresser, and a desk and chair.

Utilities and WiFi are included in the rent.

Located on Bergen Street between Bedford Avenue and Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.

The apartment is within walking distance of multiple subway lines, (#2, #3, #4, #5, A, C, S). It takes a quick 15-minute ride to reach Lower Manhattan/Financial District.

You'll have easy access to cafes/coffee shops, restaurants, supermarkets, gyms, and yoga studios.

Other nearby attractions include: Prospect Park, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Medgar Evers College, Pratt Institute and Barclays Center.

As for me, I’m a friendly, easygoing female leadership coach and sound healing practitioner. I'm looking for a responsible roommate who cleans up after themselves, pays rent on time, and doesn't bring the party home.

If you're looking for a warm atmosphere where your privacy is respected, then this room might be the perfect place for you. Message me for more information!

22F Looking for room in shared apartment, move in September/October

Hello I know it’s a little early but i’m looking to move to the city later in the year. I live a few hours upstate currently.

My preference is Brooklyn or Manhattan. I have a budget range of 1,200-1,600. I currently work as an art handler and fabricator (pays better than you would think lol). I have a 6 year old pet bunny she’s very clean, quiet and litterbox trained. She mostly just lounges around you’d barely notice she’s there.

I’m a very clean person! I make miniature sculptures, enjoy live music, traveling and making home cooked meals. Again looking to move later in the year. Please reach out and we can see if we would get along! :)

Hey my name is Ethan (25) and I’m looking for a room just about anywhere with a reasonable commute to midtown ($1400-$1700)

Hey y’all just putting some feelers out there, I’m currently in a lease that ends at the end of May. I’m looking for a place beginning in either May or June. Preferably I’d join a group who’s resigning a lease and I could just hop in, but I’m down for about anything.

I’m a bartender & server so I out late nights a lot but would obviously be respectful, I know most people have work in the mornings lmao. I really don’t take life too seriously. I am an incredibly social person so I like to go out and do things but I also like to keep to myself at times. I’ve lived with a bunch of different types of people and am a really easy going roommate. I don’t make big messes, clean up after myself, and am always down for a conversation.

I’m open to places in Brooklyn, preferably maybe like bedstuy, bushwick, or east Williamsburg. If we’re in manhattan I’d do just about anywhere but down for the LES or pretty much anywhere. Currently in Astoria and I love it here but sadly I gotta move.

I don’t have pets, love animals though. I have lost of furniture but can get rid of stuff. If you’re in a similar spot or just wanna talk more you can hit me up IG and we’ll see if we’re a good fit @ethanmerryfield.

So yeah lmk!

[Repost] Lower East Side - Fully Furnished Room in 2 bed 1 bath apartment - 6/1 or 5/15 move in - $1600 EVERYTHING INCLUDED

Lower East Side - Fully Furnished Room in 2 bed 1 bath apartment - 6/1 or 5/15 move in - $1600 EVERYTHING INCLUDED

ABOUT THE APARTMENT:

Room available in cozy and chic 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment in the Lower East Side near the corner of Clinton Street and Rivington Street. The apartment has tons of character, well maintained apartment building, no bugs or rodents, comes furnished. It’s two blocks off a busy street so super quiet at night which is nice for downtown!! Note the apartment is a three floor walk up with no elevator. I’ve lived here the last 1.5 years and absolutely love it!!

The room has a full sized bed, desk, window with AC unit, storage space and closet space. *Also realized it’s hard to tell but the room does have a window :)!

You’re a 6 min walk from Delancey Essex M F J Z train and roughly 20 minutes from the 1st Av L Train. Super fun area in LES with endless parks, coffee shops, restaurants, and bars within a 5 minute walk! Personally I love this location as an in between from Chinatown and East Village. Everything feels within walking distance!

Price is $1600 including all utilities and WiFi!!

ABOUT ME:

Super friendly and laid back 25 year old male, working in an office in midtown, I work in person 5 day a week and like keeping myself busy outside of work so I’m rarely in the apartment. I like doing new things on the weekends and taking advantage of everything New York has to offer. My go-to hobbies are chess, pool, basketball, and bike rides. I love going out and socializing but never really bring the party home. My current roommate and I are super cordial but don’t spend much time talking outside of friendly gestures, I’d be happy to keep that vibe going with my next roommate or change based on how we connect!

LOOKING FOR:

Very open to any type of person as a roommate (currently live with a 22 yo female college senior who I met on Reddit lol), very left-leaning and LGBTQ friendly. All I ask is that you’re clean and proactive about dishes/cleaning messes as they’re created, not too loud early morning or late night, respects the shared spaces, will help with common chores when necessary

My roommate’s graduating and leaving New York City so looking for someone to take her spot for at least 12 months!

If interested, please DM me with a little about yourself, what you do, and when you’re looking to move. Happy to set up a time for us to meet and see the space!

*Side note - sorry if you’ve reached out and never heard back! Please feel free to follow up with me. I got a lot of messages and had a hard time sorting through all of them.

Looking for a Roommate in East Williamsburg - May 1st

Hey hey! I have a room available in a 2 bedroom & 1.5 bathroom duplex apartment in East Williamsburg. The rent is $1,765 with ~$200 in monthly utilities. The living room & kitchen are furnished so you’d only need to furnish your bedroom. There’s a washer and dryer in the basement of the building available for all tenants. The bedrooms are on different floors so it provides decent privacy between roommates. The neighborhood is cute & diverse with a several good restaurants and bars. The L, J, M, & G trains are all within a 10 min walk. The management company uses the standard NYC rental guidelines, which are income 40 times the rent, a credit score above 650, without any late payments or collections, and 12-month rental receipts that don’t show any late rent payments. I’ll share a link to apply for the apartment if we vibe well.

I’m a gay 30 year old professional who enjoys restaurants, bars, museums, concerts, going out dancing, & such. I try to maintain a peaceful & tidy living space so ideally want someone similar. My job is a hybrid model so I work in the office 3x a week & I work from home 2x a week. A roommate who is in the lgbtq+ community would be preferred but also open to fab allies!

Private bedroom and private bath in downtown Brooklyn (City Point) - $2600

Hello! My roommate won the housing lottery, so she’s moving out.

I’m looking for someone to takeover her lease.

This is a private room and a private bathroom in a 2B/2B.

  • 5.1.2026 to 12.11.2026 (I plan to renew because I really like living here.)
  • Sunny and east-facing apartment
  • I have a spacious couch and tv set and some kitchen chairs already.
  • 24/7 doorman
  • B/D/N/Q/R/W stops, Trader Joe’s, Target, Starbucks, Kung Fu Tea, Han Dynasty, Lidl just outside the door
  • Electric ($50-$100/mo) and internet ($20/mo) per person. NO amenity, gas, trash, and sewer fees. A lot of the luxury buildings around here charge these things.
  • Gym, office, study rooms, and sunny outdoor spaces available. Laundry room is next to our room with additional laundry on the 5th floor. The laundry is really clean and well run here.
  • Storage available for $50/mo.
  • OK with small, hypoallergenic dogs. Sorry no other pets (I’m allergic).

I’m 30s F. I work hybrid in the financial district about 3x a week. I’m low key and quiet. I do not party, do drugs, smoke, or have frequent overnight guests. I’m not a neat freak, but I prefer to keep things tidy and not a mess at the end of the week. I’m looking for someone with a similar lifestyle!

I enjoy hanging out with friends, trying out different restaurants, traveling, playing pickleball, gaming and watching tv shows. I’m friendly and open to all people with different backgrounds!

Landlord requires background and credit check!

Please tell me a bit about yourself, and I can show you around or send you a video!

Moving to New York and looking for a room to sublet - May 10 onwards

Hey yall! My name is Ani and I am moving from California to New York to take up a new Tax Consultant role at around Rockefeller Plaza. I am writing this post as a way to put out some feelers for nearby apartments/rooms for sublet, as I am very new to the area and still trying to learn about what is around me. From what I was able to gather, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and Hell's Kitchen are what's on my mind right now. I am very open to suggestions and other options though so by all means, hit me up with whatever you got!

A little bit about me as a roommate is that I am very active and love to find new things to explore, so if you want to join, I'd be very happy to take on your company. I'd say I work best in routines and can carry my fair share of the responsibilities in the house (cooking, cleaning, restocking, etc.). That being said, I am open to any roommate situation as well, with my only preference being that they are also clean, carry their weight, and are around my age (21-29). My budget for rent + utilities, is about $2,000. If you want to see if we're a good fit to live together or just be friends, I'm more active on instagram @ anirudhrddy.

34M37F Couple Looking for a Place

My wife and I have been in the shelter system for a year now and due to the income plateaus in place we are not allowed to work full time. We are willing, able, and capable of working full time. My wife is a cybersecurity graduate wanting to use her skills but cannot lest she lose her bed. We moved here from Maine last May and have been stuck in a system keeping us from our potential. I am an Inventory Specialist with six years of experience in retail, a professional musician with studio experience, and a writer.

We have experienced the drama and lack of professionalism in the shelter system. We are tired. We want to succeed, not persist in these dormitories where the staff avoid and neglect their roles.

We have one orange tabby cat and personalities tempered through traveling, teaching, and surviving. We met at Nature's Classroom in Alabama, teaching Elementary and Junior High School students about science, survival, and ecology. For a year we lived and traveled in an RV.

We are clean, studious, and the both of us can cook! I was raised on a farm in Alabama, born in Orange County, California, and she is New York City born and raised.

We are looking for another couple or single to share a space with for one to two years. Our goal is to land our dream job in St. Mary's, Alaska, running the general store.

Anyone wanting to know more about us, please inquire. Our preference would be a place in Queens or Staten Island, however other locations are welcome.

Sincerely,

Samantha and Neil
