[PAID] Looking for Monster Asset Artist for Commercial JRPG (Long-Term Project / Batch-Based Work)
Hey everyone,
My name is Joel, and I’m the founder of Ash Born Interactive, currently developing a commercial JRPG called A Demon Hunter’s Guide to Passing Finals in RPG Maker MZ.
I’m looking for an artist who can create monster assets in a style similar to classic JRPG enemy art — stylized, expressive, clean, and readable in battle. Think along the lines of slime creatures, fantasy monsters, elemental enemies, demons, beasts, etc. The attached images are examples of the general style/vibe I’m aiming for. Examples on my Portfolio
I’m also looking for someone with experience balancing monster/actor/class stats.
Project Details
- Commercial indie JRPG project
- Work would be handled in batches over time, not all at once
- Looking for someone interested in a potentially long-term collaboration
- Monsters range from simple slimes to elaborate bosses and elemental creatures
What I’m Looking For
- Ability to match or work within a cohesive JRPG-inspired style
- Transparent PNG enemy assets preferred
- Experience with creature/monster design is a huge plus
- Reliability and communication matter a lot to me
Payment
This is PAID work for a commercial project.
Because of the project size, I’d like to discuss:
- Per-monster pricing
- Batch pricing
- Possible discounts for larger sets
- Turnaround expectations
About the Project
The game is called A Demon Hunter’s Guide to Passing Finals, a story-driven JRPG inspired by classics and anime-inspired fantasy worlds. A playable demo already exists, and development is actively ongoing.
If interested, please send:
- Portfolio/examples
- Rates or rough pricing structure
- Preferred contact method
- Whether you’re open to long-term batch work
Thanks for your time — I genuinely appreciate it.
