[PAID] Looking for Game Copywriter for Steam Page / Publisher Pitch (Industrial Survival Horror)

Hi everyone,

I am a solo developer and i was lucky enough to get a Gamescom slot from the university. Now i'm preparing for the Gamescom Business Area in 9 weeks. I will be pitching my upcoming project to publishers alongside a scripted Vertical Slice.

For this, I need a professional, human-written Steam Store Page Description (Short+Long Description) that doubles as an engaging pitch text for the industry professionals.

IMPORTANT: I am looking for a real writer who understands systemic horror. So please no generic AI-generated horror clichés like: ("descend into madness", "ancient curse", "unspeakable evil").

---

Project Info & Vibe

Genre: First-person survival horror. No weapons. No combat. You hide, you run, you operate the facility to survive.

The Premise: Set during an *ongoing, live catastrophe* in a massive underground corporate research facility. The facility is NOT a dark, abandoned ruin. Its fully operational at the time of the events.

Tone: Cold. Oppressive. Industrial. Brutal realism. Powerlessnes.

Core References:

Amnesia: The Dark Descent: For the absolute powerlessness and the hide-and-run gameplay loop.

Cyberpunk 2077 (Phantom Liberty "Somewhat Damaged" mission // Cynosure Bunker): This is the exact Vibe-DNA, minus the futuristic Sci-Fi aspect. Cold, industrial, server racks, hydraulics, research, deep underground etc. Engineered horror, no jump-scares or paranormal elements.

Half-Life 1 (Black Mesa): For the monolithic scale of the facility itself (internal trains, massive distributor halls).

---

What I will provide:

No gameplay footage yet, but I will deliver a detailed thematic brief (core pillars, tone, references), the full narrative script of the 3-5 minute Vertical Slice, and atmosphere-focused interior screenshots from the current version of tech demo.

Deliverables Needed:

  1. 1x Steam Short Description: Around 300 characters, punchy and precise.
  2. 1x Steam Long Description: Main body, core features, setting the atmosphere without spoiling specifics.

Budget:

$100 Payment via PayPal.

---

How to Apply:

  1. You MUST comment on this post before sending a DM. (Direct DMs without a comment will be deleted).
  2. Include a link to your portfolio, specifically pointing to Steam pages or pitching materials you have written before.
  3. To prove you actually read this brief and aren't a bot, pack the word "Cynosure" in your comment or DM :)
