Do any of you ever google a question and add “reddit” after the question because surprisingly reddit will get you straight to the answer rather than having to go through an annoying spammy website?

Men, do you judge women's bodies as much as we judge our own?

Basically what I asked in the title, do you care if we shave? Do we always look fat to you? Will we never truly be enough?

Addiction question

Does a moderate drinker have the right to tell their close friend (who is turning into a major alcoholic) they are concerned for them and think they should reevaluate their relationship with drinking? Or does that just come off hypocritical and soap boxy

How should I spend my summer vacation? 🌞

Hey everyone, I am 20 and need some ideas for things to do this summer. I am severely heat intolerant, meaning my body physically cannot handle being out in the heat. Because of this, I can't do typical summer outdoor activities, and honestly, I'm feeling really sad and frustrated about it. It sucks watching everyone else enjoy the weather while I’m stuck inside because my body won't cooperate.I really want to make the most of my summer break, but I need ideas for safe, low-heat, or entirely indoor activities that are actually fun for someone my age. What are some ways to have a fulfilling summer without overheating? Thanks in advance!

Why are women looking for relationships more than men are?

And we see this on the dating apps. Women are looking for relationships most of the time. Many men are looking for just casual.

Actually serious

I’ve been involved with someone for some time now. I wouldn’t say we’re super close, but we’ve certainly gotten to know each other over time. We are very similar in a lot of ways - but there are things I feel are being held back, kept hidden on purpose maybe- related to psychological issues, mental / emotional side of things. I’ve tried on my own to figure it out, searched for potential answers and even tried bringing it up in conversation once or twice. So far I haven’t found anything that would explain this situation / experience. Or at least the one answer that feels like I could somewhat give a pass to is deeply personal and a little bit far out for practical reasoning…

I’m not sure what to do or how to proceed- umm does anyone know what I’m saying ? Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

Should I simply forget? Or try to reach out?

I would like to preface this by saying that the person I am today, is NOTHING like that one girl I once was back in my early years of high school! People do change.

Hey everyone,i (F18) met this girl when I was in my sophomore year of high school, so we were around 13-14 years old back then. We were super close, but because I was young and stupid, I got caught up in chasing guys and put them before our friendship. and of course lost the friendship. After a rough few years, I reached out to her in early 2024 to apologize for all of the hurt I had caused, because I know our friendship meant a lot to her (and to me as well) and she forgave me, but we never really reconnected. Now, even years later, I still dream about her and can’t stop thinking about her. I see her every once in a while pop up on my socials and I end up stalking her, I feel kind of desperate to reconnect, but I also know it’s been too long. Has anyone else gone through something like this? Any advice on how to move forward? I just can’t get over the fact I’m having dreams of us laughing together and reconnecting. Makes me feel like a creep.

Question for Long Term Couples

I first want to preface this by saying that this is a genuine question. I am not criticizing anyone’s relationship choices and whatever works for someone is great. But I’m genuinely curious how and why different ways of doing things works.

There are many posts regarding finances and ways of handling money in relationships here on Reddit. In my relationship most of our money was always considered OUR money. It ALL went to a joint account, bills were paid, savings saved, we each got some to spend without question, and the rest went to general household expenses. Now he’s the soul breadwinner so it’s slightly one sided but the idea is basically the same and everything is 100% transparent.

I’ve seen other people say they each keep what they earn and split bills. Some even “settle up” if one covers something like dinner. While this doesn’t make sense to me, people have explained why and how it works.

HERE IS MY QUESTION: Aside from money, I’ve seen other 50/50, it must be even type splits posted here. Closet space. Money spent on gifts or cars. Chores in the home.

To me none of this makes sense and it all seems very tit for tat. In my opinion a relationship is rarely a 50/50 split. Sometimes it’s 70/30 others it’s 90/10 and it regularly shifts from who puts in the most effort. Frequently it feels like each partner is putting in more effort simultaneously because there’s a lot of work put into a lasting relationship/marriage.

So for those who have found a way to have a happy relationship and still split everything evenly all the time. How do you do this, why do you do this, what makes it sustainable?

You just moved to a new city and don’t know anyone, what’s the smartest first step to start building a social circle?

Imagine you’re new in town and starting from scratch socially. No friends, no family nearby and you don’t know the local spots yet. What’s the first move you’d make to start meeting people and building connections??

What document management system would be suitable for a pta group please?

I'm just trying to find an online document management system that people can access word/excel docs etc and update and view in real time. I had a look online and alot of business ones offer video and messaging which we don't need and are quite expensive for a pta group. Can I get any advice please on what might be suitable?
