good day dear experts i got a x220 thinkpad - where i want to install a linux.

therefore i need t get into the BIOS-Seztup so that i can choose the setup-conditions (boot from xyz - [mostly the sdb - the usb-flash drive])

so - if ineed to setup the condtions i need to get into the "Bios" - Setup of the notebook.

the challeinge - i guess that i have a engl. keyboard -; and this could be somewhat tricky

so how would you go and add the os- as a iso to the x220?

sudo mkfs.ext4 /dev/sdb1

sudo dd bs=4M if=~/Downloads/_mein_linux.iso of=/dev/xyz status=progress && sync

hmm - well if i want to create a ISO - do i really need to run the mkfs

dd auf /dev/sdx, not on /dev/sdx[1…9]

and besides this: do i really need

sync

do raw Devices need this!?.

a) Niveau Nur Grundlagen (Eingabe, Sortieren, Summe) oder auch fortgeschrittenes Zeug wie SVERWEIS/XVERWEIS, Pivot-Tabellen, Diagramme mit sekundärer Achse?

b) Live vs. historisch: würdet ihr eher mit den echten Ergebnissen der aktuellen WM arbeiten (jeden Tag neue Daten) oder besser ein festes Modell mit historischen Daten (z.B. WM 2022 oder die kommende WM 2026 mit 48 Teams)? ich denk dass die Live-Daten der aktuellen WM! sich ganz gut eignen: Das tägliche Eintragen der echten Ergebnisse am Morgen erzeugt eine Aktualität die motiviert zum mitmachen.

e) Welche konkreten Übungen fallen euch ein?
ich denke mal, dass wir an Beispielen viel viel erarbeiten können: Tabellenstand mit WENN/UND automatisch berechnen, Tordifferenz, Qualifikationsszenarien, Länderspiel-Vergleiche … was wäre euer "Must-have"-Beispiel?

Freue mich jetzt auf Ideen, Tipps, Tricks, Kritik – alles, was den Kurs besser, spannender und praxisnäher macht. Der Kurs geht über 4 Wochen (parallel zur WM). Ich werde die Ergebnisse später mit meiner Lerngruppe testen.

PS. Sollte man absolute/relative Bezüge anhand einer strukturierten Tabelle (als Objekt) vs. normalem Zellbereich demonstrieren? Oder ist das Mikro-Optimierung?

• Pivot erstellen: Die 48-Spiele-Tabelle markieren und auf Einfügen > PivotTable klicken.
• Das Ziehen der Felder (Live-Übung):
  • Ziehen Sie Team 1 in die Zeilen.
  • Ziehen Sie Tore Team 1 in die Werte.
• Ergebnis: Excel listet sofort alle Teams sauber untereinander auf und addiert deren Tore.
• Erweiterung: Das Feld Gruppe in den Filter ziehen, um die Tabelle per Klick nur für "Gruppe A" anzuzeigen.

well i am currently thinking on creating a Excel-Tutorial and lesson for a k12 learner group. i think that this is a appropiate (excellent) idea!

the idea: what if we take: Data from a football World Cup—such as schedules, standings, goals, and points:

i think it is perfect for explaining Excel functions in a truly engaging and clear way, covering everything from the basics to complex formulas.

how to make this introduction as useful and exciting as possible for the learner,

i think we need to tailor the examples specifically to the prior knowledge and goals.

a. What level of Excel proficiency could / should we aim for?

b. should we be looking for the absolute basics (data entry, sorting, simple sums), or could we aim to learn advanced functions like VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, or PivotTables?

c. What format or medium should we be using?

d. should we create this introduction as a personal guide; i want to make it as a tutorial for a online-learning group - on Moodle: a presentation for a team, so it would be great to work on an interactive workshop for beginners.

e. the football World Cup should serve as the template: Note we also could use some historical data (e.g., the 2022 World Cup) or we could build a model right away for the upcoming expanded 2026 World Cup featuring 48 teams.

f. what do you think about this - i look forward to hear from you
