Hello s3xy fellows!

Since I got the s3xy dash (2nd batch) I always struggled with its support arm for 2 reasons:

1. The glue kept unsticking from the trim, even though I did everything as instructed;

2)I couldn’t find a nice incline on the adjustment that would allow me to see the screen properly. I had to choose between it being too downward-facing (which led to bad viewing angle) or to have part of the screen being blocked by the steering wheel.

Therefore, I’ve ordered a Spigen car phone holder that goes exactly where the s3xy dash support would, but with no glue, it simply “clicks” into place on the trim.

Check the photos on the final result.

Conclusion: It fixes the 2 issues I mentioned above!! With this I have way more adjustment positions, including a lower one.

Had this for 3 months now and never looking back!

I have had a sexy dash now for about 4 weeks. I think it’s mostly great. Sometimes I think “I didn’t need this” because it’s more of a novelty - but that’s besides the point.

I have it attached just behind the steering wheel and not on the dash near the windshield. The adhesive sucks. It has now basically peeled off and falls forward and and won’t stay, even with the extra tape included. I suspect the warmer weather and heating the interior caused it, but now I’m thinking of ways to maybe screw it into the plastic trim piece there. Anyone else have this problem or a solution?

2022 model 3 performance

I tried left stalk, right stalk, removing the adhesive and using the additional one - none of them worked. I followed the instructions to a tee and the adhesive fails on its own and falls right off. I even spent 15 minutes on one of the stalks pushing as hard as i could, only for it to fall off on its own 10 seconds later.

Does anyone else have this issue?

UPDATE: Enhance support has responded: the box with the stalks I received were mislabeled as model X, and were actually model 3 stalks - that's why they weren't fitting right and the adhesive wasn't touching the steering base. They advised me to reach out to the US distributor that I bought it from to solve the issue. Thank you to Enhance support for being so on top of it!

So I’ce been having issues with the screen remaining blank until the power cable was out and in again.

Today it’s not working anymore.

And it is the display only as the Dash is visible under BT devices list.

Does anyone have similar issues?

I will write that once again: I feel dumb for being early adopter - never again.

And sadly, my appreciation for Enhance’s products is pretty low now I will not be recommending them again 😔

For reference, here’s how I’ve set up my two S3XY buttons in my car. I’m seeking inspiration and ideas for what to program the buttons to do. I already have the knob, so it covers a lot of things that I might have programmed it to. However, since they have a one-click double-click and hold feature, there are at least three things on each button that can perform a specific action. I’m just stumped on what to use them for. TIA!!

I got the S3XY Strip preorder on Sep 1.
Now it’s falling apart. Does anybody have the same issue?
I’m in SoCal. So it not that hot right now.

Here’s an idea… can you make a s3xy under screen knob like those that exists with programmable buttons in the s3xy eco system… like this one.. I think I’d be more likely to use those short cuts and knob under the screen rather than the center console.

Thanks for he interest in this project, progress going well.

To recap on the goals:

• 3D printable with PETG HF/ASA : Done, except for test ASA print
• OEM feel (S3XY/Tesla) : DONE
• no cuts/fully revertable : DONE
• no sticky tape : DONE
• optional use original S3XY mount or just the original magnet circle mount with streamlined design (shown in picture) : DONE
• make the 16v usb-c connection usb-c compliant : Parts received, design done, NEXT

The image shows how the cable ends on the non-usbc end. Is there an adaptor that can turn it into usbc?

I want to connect it to a regular usbc power socket, and really want to use this cable. It's impossible to find a black cable that is both thin, long and has a 90degree angle that can connect to the dash nicely...
