Apparently Tesla has removed the ability to have your Trips on the card and have limited that information to a larger menu selectable screen. The card is now locked on Odometer, Current Trip and Since Charge. You cannot have Trip A or Trip B data displayed there.

I'm not a fan of this change.

I've had the Dash for about a month now (2025 MY LR AWD) and wanted to share a few thoughts:

  1. I modified mine to mount on the steering wheel column. I basically got a plastic block and used 3M tape to attach it to the column and then attached the Dash mount to it. If I move the column all the way in it would break the block off. No biggie...it's safe for all three drivers.
  2. Since installing it I am delighted I don't have to look over to the main screen for things like speed.
  3. The blind spot indicators are a nice addition.
  4. The Dash has been stable for me. No real problems.
  5. The widgets are in need of work. Some don't work (Warnings), others just aren't done well like the Speed Gauges and some stuff is just missing like Set Speed for AP and next turn for Nav. I hope/look forward to these improving.
  6. Brightness and clarity have been fine. I have mine set on Auto for Light/Dark and screen brightness.
  7. The installation was pretty painless. I used the Commander I already had installed and drew power from it. Ran the wire under the wood trim.
  8. I'm not using AA/CarPlay functionality. I may at some point to get access to some android apps, but right now, I'm using Amazon Alexa Auto for my Music/Radio services, and I'm not sure, that would meld well with AA and my phone providing internet for the car with an auto tether I have setup.

Right now I'm going to give it a 7 out of 10. That could go up if/when the widgets are improved.
