Should I admit I was fire from a previous Airline will they take back my CJO

Should I admit I was fire from a previous Airline will they take back my CJO

I have a CJO from Delta On my application I said I left American Airlines (didn't specify fired) Now the background check form is asking for a brief explanation if my reason for leaving was involuntary and to upload termination or separation documents if available

I was actually fired My question is if I admit it and upload the documents will that automatically make Delta rescind my CJO or is it worse to hide it and have them find out on their own

Has anyone here been fired from a previous airline and still gotten hired at Delta

Thanks

Did I get rejected?

Applied to unifi ramp a week ago and just got this mail. It feels like they're saying "hey we got your follow up and we'll let you know what we think" at the same time it feels like they're saying "thank you but no thanks" especially with the ("when"), so like just in case it is a rejection letter, you guys know any companies at PhL that are hiring ramp?

How do you guys not lose weight while working this job? Six months in and struggling

Hey guys, I’m a skinny guy 5’8 and 125 lbs and I’ve been struggling to keep my weight up since I got this job. I usually work in baggage and I usually walk 10-15 miles a shift and spend most of that time stacking and carrying bags. I easily burn almost 2000 calories in one shift and I try so hard to make up for it but sometimes I just can’t keep up. I make these massive shakes loaded with a shit ton of peanut butter and protein powder and eat other high calorie junk like oatmeal with 10 servings of butter just to get the calories in me. Sometimes I try to force so much food into my body that it makes me feel sick and I want to throw up so I stop eating, then wake up starving the next day. I often wake up feeling so sore and tired that I think there’s no way I’ll be able to go to work but then I do it anyway and get it done somehow. I feel very unhealthy and I’ve lost 15 lbs since I started this job.

Delta Employee Dies On The Job at Orlando International Airport, Officials say

Stay safe everyone. There’s 1,000,000 ways to die on the ramp and none of them end with an open casket.

Offered full-time Air Canada Ramp Agent role at YVR — worth taking if my long-term goal is aviation/pilot career?

I recently got offered a full-time Ramp Agent / Station Attendant position with Air Canada at YVR. The starting pay is $23.36/hr, and I’ve heard there may be changes with the new contract, but I’m not trying to base my decision only on rumours.

My long-term goal is to build a career in aviation, ideally as a pilot, so I’m trying to figure out whether this role is a smart entry point into the industry or mainly just a physically demanding job with limited upside.

For anyone who has worked ramp, airport operations, or at Air Canada: would you take this role if your long-term goal was aviation, and what should I know before accepting?

I’d appreciate honest insight from people who have been in the industry.

how strict is the probationary period?

hey. if i were to get a pt ramp agent job with AA mainline soon, i’ve read online they have a 100 day probationary period. the thing is i have a trip i planned a long long time ago.it’s 2.5 weeks long. i’d lose a lot of money if i don’t go. how strict is the probationary period? do you think the manager would let me go on my trip or do i have to make a choice between the two. and btw the trip is to central asia not europe or east asia which i can easily reschedule. i’ll miss a few days of work since its only a pt gig. i can fs find others to cover me but it being during the probationary period idk if that’s allowed. anyone knows what this could come down to?

Received this crime scene from Vegas

The load report said all bags would be in bin 2, clearly somebody was in a rush. And yes the net was wide open when I entered. Must say the flight showed 7 hours late 😅

Starting as a baggage handler

Graduated from university and starting a job as a baggage handler but I'm really scared after reading all the online comments, articles about injuries etc. This is supposed to be a temporary job before I land a full-time job. I've never done any physically strenuous jobs before- I do however lift at the gym and some would say that I'm a big guy. Do you think it's worth the risk? I read about all sorts of injuries and it freaked me out. I would really appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Sida badge questions

We were notified at stand-up today, that starting may 15th, they would start taking our sida badges at the end of our shifts? Is this legal? Unless i misunderstood i thought were werent supposed to hand them to anyone unless, we got terminated. Should clarify i work for a cargo company and not the airlines directly.

EDIT:Thank you for all the advice, ended up calling the badging office like allot of people said, they said that our company was not allowed to do that, Unsure whats gonna happen if they try to enforce it.

Serious Question

So basically i got termed from AA (young and dumb i know) but I applied so many times for their subsidiaries both Piedmont and PSA and got denied almost immediately. I don’t mind working for a contractor but it made me wonder… is it AA as a whole denying me or something else? Like my airport, FAA, etc. let me know your thoughts
