In 10 countries, leaving one's religion is punishable by death
Using ai to read grad names at graduation
I spent 4 hours getting him out of the wall. He fell about 70 inches.
I had to use a combination of a rope with a slip knot and a tape measure to guide it around himself. He gotten a bath but other than that he is doing pretty good for a cat that fell down a balloon framed house.
I really gotta get a better method to keep cats out of the attic while I am up there. The door don't shut properly and is warped. But I am not gonna go up there for anything till that stupid door can shut and latch properly so this never happens again.
The only seat on the plane with LESS leg room
I have literally never seen this in my entire life. It's a pillar. There's no leg room and nowhere to put my bag. What even is this??? It's the only one on the plane
ETA: after I complained, the flight attendant told me if he moved me to a different seat he would have to charge me $100 upgrade for the "Even More (premium)" seats. he then saw me posting this and gave me some extra of the (free) snacks
The airline is JetBlue and this was a standard priced ticket
At this price I’d rather eat Wendy’s at Wendy’s
How to stop these mormons...
From knocking on my door? I recently moved into an enclosed apartment building from a house and thought I'd be free from their harassment but no! Tonight, at 8pm, they knocked on my door, grinning like idiots, with dumb nametags, believing in Santa Claus or whatever. Are they unaware how rude this behavior is or not? I have my own delusions which I've carefully created around myself to deal with reality, thank you very much, and I don't bother anyone else with them (I most especially don't knock on some stranger's door with a book about my delusions) because that's gross behavior. Oh, and I'm supposed to be nice and polite because their just brainwashed children but I'm at home & in a bad mood already, sooooo... thank you for reading. I was very annoyed, still am.
Tried to catch 123,456.7. Forgot for a second and barely missed it.
Missed it by 1.4 😫. Needed the win, and gas 🤣
Basically all of my coworkers wash their chicken and I'm the only one who doesn't. Now they are gaslighting me into thinking I am the one taking crazy pills.
reddit.comMy son saved up his own money to buy Nikes. They lasted less than 3 months.
I’m going to have to literally destroy my disabled son’s non-operative equipment to get safe equipment.
The title is it. My son has been on a ventilator his entire life and will be for the rest of it. He has a mobile vent “carrier” that has essentially been unusable since November of 2024, he got it in November of 2023 so it worked for a year. The carrier is secured by a literal metal clip. The ventilator itself is like 15 pounds. The problem is the clip literally cannot hold the weight of the ventilator, and while using it the clip will literally come undone while I’m carrying it. My son’s vent is connected to him via his trachea and it can literally rip it out, which is fucking life threatening.
His company has came and “fixed” it like 5 times now and the fix literally works for a day or 2, then it goes right back to shit. They claim that’s all they can do and after talking to other disabled parents I’ve come to find that for many of us to get properly working equipment we have to literally destroy the equipment to the point that they can’t cheap out and just bend the clips back or something cheap. So I’m lathering his fucking carrier case in peanut butter and letting my dogs go too fucking town on it. It’s functionally inoperable at this point and his mother and I don’t even trust to use it so it’s not like we’re actually effecting his quality of life by not having it.
Pic included so you can see the literal frustration.
Edit for those commenting, the equipment having the issue isn’t necessary for him, it just makes moving him easier. He’s not in any active danger by this not being fixed, it’s just frustrating because instead of being helpful the equipment is a hindrance. There have been several suggested comments and messages with suggestions and I’m welcome to them and a karabiner seems like a good quick fix. That being said I personally pay for this shit already, insurance comes out of my check, and is further covered by American Tax Payers via BCMH and I should be able to get the shit properly serviced for an incredibly SIMPLE fix that probably would cost them pennies in comparison to what they are being paid for.
Restaurant charges an Employee Wage and Benefits Fee but it isn’t a tip.
Why call it an employee wage and benefit fee if it’s not going to the employees? Am I not understanding this correctly?
Roommate snooping my room
This is the second time it happens this week. Door is kept closed when I’m away. I asked her if she was looking for something in my room since I keep getting Ring notifications about her being in my room.
She took hours to reply, she replied the next morning, she claims she was with a friend in the living room and wanted to see if I was there as to not disturb me with noise.
The funny thing is, she’s looking everywhere, except at my bed where is the only place I could possibly be if I was there. She looks all around. Except my bed.
Just the day before, she saw me getting out of the apartment with luggage, and my dog. I told her I’d be back in a few days. She did this fully knowing I wasn’t there.
Even if her excuse was true. what if I was there? What if I was sleeping or watching tv in the privacy of my room. She still barging in my room without permission.
She didn’t text me or call me before or after snooping.
I’m supposed to meet with her tomorrow and sign a lease contract for 7 months at the leasing office.
I told her before we do that, I want the contract we have between us revised. I think I want to add a privacy policy to our original contract. Which is wild to me that I even have to ask for this to be included.
I’m changing the locks tomorrow. I’ve been in the apartment less than 4 weeks. I found her room to rent on FB marketplace.
I’m 18 and I just had to increase my text size on my laptop because my vision is getting worse but my eye doctor claims “Everything is the same as the last checkup” for the past 5 checkups.

16' of Nanoleaf LED light strip anger
Had to replace a 3-month-old Nanoleaf Essential LED lightstrip because I accidentally tore the one I had mounted. Fine. Annoying, but fine.
I ordered what I thought was the same replacement strip, and the new one arrived with a 3M backing that is cut every 4 inches.
Every. Four. Inches.
It’s a 16-foot lightstrip, which means I had to peel the backing off 48 separate times. Because apparently someone at Nanoleaf looked at one continuous peel strip and thought, “No, this is too enjoyable. Let’s make this feel like defusing a bomb with fingernails.”
What’s more frustrating than trying to get your nail between the adhesive and the backing?
Doing it 48 times while standing on a ladder, twisted into positions usually reserved for IKEA assembly injuries and medieval confession devices.
I don’t know who approved this design choice, but I hope their fitted sheet comes off one corner every night forever.
Also, bonus chaos: even though the controller looks the same, the set I bought in March 2026 was 5V 3A, and this new one is 24V 1A.
Sigh.
Wtf is this bullshit, Instant Gaming?
My local Walmart’s are gutting their physical media sections for more smart TV storage.
My hair is so goddamn thick that everytime I scratch it for too long it pierces my finger like a goddamn pincushion
