Grocery prices…

Obviously it’s been bad for a long time and yes, we all expect prices to keep rising but in the last week alone… wtf!

I went to grocery outlet and almost nothing was on sale. Produce looked terrible and it was still normal store prices.

Wendy’s canned chili is $6.49 at Albertsons. Not that I’d ever buy it but wow!

I went to new seasons to grab a pineapple and I ONLY went there because that’s all I needed and it’s walking distance but for $7.99?! I walked right out.

Oh and am I the only one noticing toilet paper rolls/tubes keep getting shorter? I’m tired of this double, single, triple, mega roll crap while they act as if a single roll has always been that tiny. And then they make the giant roll tubes a lot shorter.

Trader Joe’s and winco are still cheaper than most but even their prices went up quite a bit.

They threw tea in the harbor for a lot less.

Anyone know what this bug is?

These bugs have been flying above the rocks next to my patio. Google is saying they’re spider wasps but I can’t tell for sure. Anyone know?

My elderly dog loves to lay in the sun right there but I’ve been seeing these a lot lately. I just want to make sure it’s safe. Do they sting or anything?

They’re about the same size as a yellow jacket/wasp. Abdomen is striped like a yellow jacket but red/black.

This sub only allows one photo and my iPhone camera sucks but I’ll try to add more pics in the comments.

I bought a portable AC unit last summer. It’s practically new but it started to leak and smell weird. GE said not to use it and to file a warranty claim.

The way their warranty works is I have to go buy another GE brand unit, submit my receipt and in 6-8 weeks they’ll reimburse me with a check. This whole process is maddening since the machine is unusable and I have to go spend money that I really don’t have instead of getting reimbursed or a credit.

I don’t want to have to go through this again so I want one that’s reliable. Does anyone know what portable AC models are best from GE? Thanks

My wiper fluid wasn’t coming out so I checked the reservoir and the cap was missing. Bought a new cap and filled it up today. As I was filling it seemed like there might be air in it.

I filled with 2/3 of a gallon and it was full. A few minutes later I noticed a small puddle dripping from under the bumper on the passenger side and it sprays like this right after filling it.

There’s an obvious leak somewhere, I’m just curious if anyone has dealt with this before? I’m debating if I should just buy a new reservoir now but I’m not sure if it’s just a hose. It doesn’t seem like there’s an easy way to access it. Any tips/ideas?

Idk who at the city needs to hear this, but using glyphosate to kill a dandelion growing out of a sidewalk crack is a bit much.

Who is getting kickbacks to spray this stuff everywhere?! Aren’t we supposed to be a progressive city or something like that? It’s as if Trump is running the entire environmental dept here.

Also to that one landscaping company that shall not be named but starts with a “7” - it would be really awesome if you guys would at least put signs up where you spray. I’d rather not find out on the day of AFTER I just unknowingly walked my dog through it. But thanks for making my elderly dog sick again for the second time this year and giving ZERO NOTICE 🖕🖕🖕
