I got banned from Fashion because 48 people agreed with me that OP is not fashionable in her exercise pants and athletic shoes. Really? I got an award for pointing this out.

FASHION THOUGHTS
- Pat Field is a QUEEN who is very much missed 😭
- That said, the fashion is fine. Nothing compared to the original, but nice.
- Miranda has >!lost her edge fashion-wise and character-wise (more on that later).!<
- Emily and Amari >!(aka 2026 Emily/Assistant number 1) !<are the winners, along with Stanley Tucci.
- >!Dior!< is way over-represented (apparently they were early entrants into the film...it shows)....that said I Stan hard for >!Dior!<, so I'm not complaining haha.
- BUT it does take you out of the film. The product placements is as intense as that of Diet Coke and Starbucks. It's distracting.
- See comments below for a pic of my fav outfit (I can't put it in the post body for some reason).
FILM Thoughts
TL;DR - 6.5/10. Fun to watch, doesn't hold a candle to the original.
- I liked the commentary of major media's modern landscape vs that of the original film in 2006
- ...BUT it's simply bizarre how >!influencers and social media go mostly unmentioned! Those are IMO by far the biggest shift!!<
- Miranda>!has lost her edge. I get part of it is because she is less powerful (since her magazine is MUCH less powerful) but it made her a bit...boring and vanilla?!<
- Andy >!suddenly being put as features editor at Runway is hugely unrealistic and out of left field, both in the film and in any concept of reality.!<
- Andy's >!love story felt patched on and frankly annoying in a movie that should focus on her career.!<
- How the hell does Andy >!go from clearly under-paid journalist with brown water running out of her pipes, to living in a multi-million dollar apartment, even if her salary "was doubled"? !<
- The idea of Miranda >!flying coach being horror of horrors made me recall the same thing in the "Sex and the City 2" movie. It works more here, but it still feels...ugh!<
- I did not like the narrative of >!"Billionaires solve everything!", Especially from Lucy Liu, whose character is barely fleshed out, and whose interest in the magazine seems barely there?!<
- Emily wanting to >!have been post-work buddies with Andy back in 2006? And now in 2026? Really? Seemed falsely saccharine and patched on.!<

I do love a fun print.
I thrifted this 1980s Pendleton equestrian button up, and it’s become one of my very favorite things.
Granny Style
First post here. At 71 yearsold I thought I would showcase what I wear!
Thought I would share some of my spring looks.
These days I’m into linen and linen blends.
Also comfort! Its key!
If you notice my different hair styles, I wear wigs. My hair hasn’t aged well so wigs are part of my style now!
I got this skirt at Anthropologie years ago and still wear it all the time. Prada bag I got in 2016 and still love the colour and style. The jacket was from Free People. Hat from Nordstrom. Boots by Sam Edelman. I just love to dress up.
Top and blazer Zara, Glasses Firmoo, Jewelry Mejuri....can't decide if this outfit looks nice with these glasses for my first ever podcast?
Hi,
Your feedback is really important and I’m lowkey stressing. I will be recording my first proper podcast episode (with cameras, not just audio) and suddenly I care way too much about how I look.
I went for a semi casual, put together vibe (black top, oversized blazer and black pants). Now that I have added my glasses, I can’t tell if they elevated the look or threw it off.
Gird your loins!
...And welcome to the mega-thread ID'ing fashions from The Devil Wears Prada 2!
Everything is organised by characters. Please feel free to add your own finds too!
Also, please see our thoughts on the film and it's overall fashion sense here!

Ageism is NOT allowed – go elsewhere!
Hi guys! As always, 99.9% of you are amazing. But I've seen some less-than-amazing people making fun of people's age lately.
Anyone doing that needs to take that trash attitude elsewhere.
Style is about mentality, creativity and perspective. End of.
If you see any ageism (or other attempts at bullying), please report it so we can take care of it ASAP.
