On my 1st supermarket GF shopping spree I bought Mission GF flour tortillas. They were gummy & pasty at the same time and so thin. I tried using them in a burrito but could barely heat them because they stuck to the comal/griddle. Same with my quesadilla.
And just when I had given up all hope of using the rest of these flour tortillas & ever eating a flour tortilla again for the rest of my life...
I was given a pack of Ole GF flour tortillas. Game changer! They were purchased from Albertsons in SoCal, and they are delicious and hold up to my cooking needs. Big shoutout to my sister who gifted them to me and picked up another pack for me. Happy Mother's Day gift and I love it, no gift is too small or unappreciated!

Wishing everyone a very
Happy Mother's Day.

I got banned from Fashion because 48 people agreed with me that OP is not fashionable in her exercise pants and athletic shoes. Really? I got an award for pointing this out.

It has been 30 days since I ate the chocolate cake and have been so sick the entire month. Never felt such cramping in my loins. So bloated and tender. Lost weight because of the vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, inability to eat. After days of only eating rice, applesauce and forced liquids - I turned a new leaf and went to the store to purchase only gluten free products. Some are good and some are very bad.

The homemade biscuit that my relative made was calling out my name, like Eve, I was seduced & persuaded to eat it. Just to see if I could eat it and not get sick. I gobbled it quickly then went to bed. I awoke moaning, in distress. I am sitting on my proverbial throne in the wee hours of the morning and thinking, was it worth it? Hell no!

I only knew that I had a sensitivity to gluten as my doctor had recently told me. I can't imagine having to be force fed gluten to have a colonoscopy to determine if I have celiac. I just don't think I can. I feel so bad right now.
