Is it supposed to go directly on flame or on top of grates?

Is it supposed to go directly on flame or on top of grates?

I bought this from Amazon Napoleon store. It is supposed to fit Rogue 525. But when I remove one of the grates and place this in the spot, it leaves a considerable size gap between grates and itself. Am I supposed to just put it on top of grates instead of replacing the grates?

Can somebody help identify this

The sticker says model 500rsib, the serial number starts with 25, but black hood and interior lights? what is this? Thanks!

She’s a beast compared to the 4 burner Weber Summit it’s replacing, but the first impression is impressive!

The fire box on my Summit was rust out pretty badly after 17 years of living outside (under a cover). I took the leap of faith to switch to team Napoleon and, based on build quality and a couple of minutes of searing, I’m a happy camper.

I had a couple of questions that either didn’t get answered, or I was given the wrong answer.
- Will the stainless drop in griddle fit in the drawer? Absolutely ( even though I was told no by Napoleon).

- Will the pizza dome fit in the drawers? I don’t have it yet, but it should. The drawers are 36 5/8” W x 18” D x 8” H.

Hopefully this weekend I’ll get to really try it out. I excited to try to use the smart functions for some items, like roasts, that we would typically do in the oven.

As a new Napoleon owner, I’d love to hear what accessories others get the most use out of. I’m considering a wok because it seems that the IR side burner, while not a real wok burner, can handle it pretty well.

2 burner Rogue XT 365 vs 3 burner Freestyle Pro 365?

I'm looking for a grill with an infrared side burner and in my price range I've found the following models available in my area:

2 burner Rogue XT 365

3 burner Freestyle Pro 365

Which of these two is the better option?

On one hand the Rogue should have better components and build quality, and on the other hand it's 2 burners vs 3

I'm going to be cooking just for me and my wife 90% of the time (steak dinner), and on the other 10% it's gonna be a 8 person BBQ at the most.

What is this metal plate that I got with my Napoleon grill?

Bought a Napoleon Freestyle 365 and this piece came with it. It isn’t mentioned on the parts list on the manual and I’m not sure what it’s for. It has 4 panels that fold, looks like stainless steel, the blue colour is the protective sticker that I’ve not taken off yet.

New Napoleon Rogue grill — knobs/ignition seem to jam and flame goes out when I release

Hey all — just got a new Napoleon Rogue grill and I’m trying to figure out if this is user error, a knob alignment issue, or something wrong with the install.
When I push the burner knob in and turn it left to ignite, the burner lights. But when I release the knob, the flame goes out. It also feels like the knob won’t rotate smoothly past the ignition/high area — almost like it hits a hard stop or gets jammed.
This seems to happen across the knobs, not just one burner.
I pulled the knob off and recorded a video showing the stem/knob movement. Does this look normal for a Napoleon Rogue, or should the knob be able to rotate farther/smoother after ignition?
Wondering if:
I’m releasing too early
the knobs are seated too tightly against the front panel
the control panel/manifold is misaligned
or this needs warranty/service
Appreciate any help — first time using this model and don’t want to force anything.

Upgrade to Napoleon

Hi, I currently use weber genesis 2 E410 and want to upgrade to Napoleon because of the searzone.

I've been looking at the prestige models, and need advice.

*Is the new connected model actually worth it? Looks like something that will spoil fast

*Is the pro model worth it? From what I see it's mostly the interior light and slightly thinker built.. Almost 1.5k difference in Singapore

I already have a Kamado grill for smoking and mostly use the gas for steaks, birds and veggie

Thank you

Sizzle Zone not working

Hi all,

I have a Prestige 500 and right now the Sizzle zone is not working, the electrode is not sparking, may I ask the forum what can I do to fix it.

Thanks!

Just got my new grill, is this risky?

Just got and setup our new Napoleon Prestige 500 (2025 Edition) but the package was missing 4 items. All 4 caster supports, which means we can’t put the wheels or doors on. Reached out to the place I bought it from but since it is Friday, I don’t expect to hear back until Monday.

We are hosting a BBQ this Sunday, for Mother’s Day, so do want to be able to use it. Is there any risk to using it in this manner?

Description states that it hasn't been used in 5 years but has been kept covered. Looks to be in good condition from the photos, as far as I could tell. Is this a good deal? What are the gotchas / things I should be aware of in this model?

I'm considering getting the griddle for my Prestige 500 but wanted some feedback from anyone who's using it. Mainly, how does it perform? Do you feel it's similar to a stand alone griddle? Do you leave it on the grill or swap back and forth. Any rust issues with it especially if leaving on? Thanks

Shout out to customer service

I had a problem with what I thought was the regulator from looking stuff up online. I sent a message to the customer service email saying “Regulator?”

They sent me back troubleshooting things and if it didn’t solve it to let them know. They sent me the regulator in the mail. Didn’t cost me anything. Installed it and we are solid!

That said, when I called the number I was on hold for like an hour and gave up…

I was looking Phantom Prestige 500 versus the Prestige 500. I'm not really interested in the smart features since I want to use my own probes. The main feature difference that I am interested in is the cast stainless steel grates.

The Prestige 500 is $2,099.00 and the Phantom Prestige 500 is $2,649.00. That is a $550.00 price difference. If I were to buy the cast stainless steel grates as an accessory, they would cost $798.99. If you were interested in the cast stainless steel grates, then the phantom is a great deal.

My question is has anyone used both the stainless steel and the cast stainless steel grates? How was the before and after performance? I've only found reviews online of people who like the cast stainless steel grates, but I have not been able to find a good comparison.

Customer Service?

Anyone else have trouble with their customer service? I have ordered parts covered by their warranty but the parts aren't shipping, emails go unanswered and I am now 2 hours + on hold. Really disappointed.

As you can see, the flame comes up above the heat shield. I'm always getting flare-ups on high or even sometimes on low heat. I have to put the burners at the lowest setting and it still gets up around 500. Is this maybe a faulty pressure regulator valve or something else? Anyone else have this issue?

This is my father’s grill and it’s pretty old. I want to get him a new cover since his is in bad shape but I haven’t had luck identifying the model so I can get a suitable cover.
