New Napoleon Rogue grill — knobs/ignition seem to jam and flame goes out when I release
Hey all — just got a new Napoleon Rogue grill and I’m trying to figure out if this is user error, a knob alignment issue, or something wrong with the install.
When I push the burner knob in and turn it left to ignite, the burner lights. But when I release the knob, the flame goes out. It also feels like the knob won’t rotate smoothly past the ignition/high area — almost like it hits a hard stop or gets jammed.
This seems to happen across the knobs, not just one burner.
I pulled the knob off and recorded a video showing the stem/knob movement. Does this look normal for a Napoleon Rogue, or should the knob be able to rotate farther/smoother after ignition?
Wondering if:
I’m releasing too early
the knobs are seated too tightly against the front panel
the control panel/manifold is misaligned
or this needs warranty/service
Appreciate any help — first time using this model and don’t want to force anything.
