I hate the color of my flooring and I want to lighten it — help.

I hate the color of my flooring and I want to lighten it — help.

I installed fake wood PVC rustic-style vinyl flooring, and over time I started regretting it. And some people even choose even darker ones.

I realized the house looks like a cabin and it doesn’t give the natural-modern vibe I’d like, with a lighter wood tone. It looks horrible: very dark brown with those knots and that aged wood effect.

Is there any way to lighten SPC flooring (PVC) 5.5 mm slightly and uniformly?

Starting a project by opening CapCut with a shortcut in Windows

Basically what the title says, I’m tired of first loading the program, waiting a bit, then clicking the project and waiting for it to load again.

ChatGPT has given me some help but I still can’t get it working.

How do I tell ChatGPT not to include two different images in a single image?

In the API I have it configured so it can generate up to 3 images in a row, one after another.

I’m tired of it sometimes putting two images into a single output when I explicitly asked for two separate vertical images. 2 PNGs, etc.

I even asked it 10,000 times what I should say so it wouldn’t generate two images inside the same PNG, but nothing works, it’s hopelessly dumb.

What is less harmful? DMAA powder, inhaled DMAA through a nasal spray/inhaler, or DMHA?

Caffeine does nothing for me anymore, so I want to try something new. But I also don’t really like the idea that these compounds are banned, especially DMAA in the US for example. However is better idea those than research chemical weirds

Which one is less harmful out of the two?

I’m taking a low dose antidepressant called sertraline, 25 mg.

What do you think about caffeine inhaled through the nose?

I’m not talking about caffeine powder. I mean caffeine dissolved in purified water that I’ve seen being sold on Amazon (though not directly by Amazon itself).

In theory it’s meant to be taken sublingually, but I’ve seen videos of people doing triathlons and races who take it through the nose instead. They say it doesn’t irritate the stomach that way. It seems like a good hack to give the stomach a break, even if it’s just once a month. It would probably be harmful if done often, but a couple of times a month probably wouldn’t cause anything serious.

And then there’s an ultrafine powdered caffeine product called Wildcraft being sold — that’s something I definitely wouldn’t dare try.

I think I’m going to try the nasal inhaler.

My strange improvement in erections after taking antidepressants.

The anxiety and elevated blood pressure I had left me with extreme impotence, almost making me feel eunuch-like.

When I started taking an SSRI, everything got even worse — zero erections, inability to reach orgasm. However, for some strange reason, I was having stronger nocturnal erections. It made no sense.

I should say that even though I already had erection problems before taking SSRIs, I was still pretty addicted to masturbation and porn. Even at my age, I was masturbating around twice a day, most of the time with porn.

I spent quite a long time barely masturbating because of the SSRI, since reaching orgasm was almost impossible. I would masturbate maybe once a week or once every 10 days. But on that weekly session, I already noticed I could get a decent erection, despite having reduced sensitivity from the SSRI.

After 3–4 months of masturbating less, my erections improved a lot. Now I masturbate more often again, although I try not to do it every day. The SSRI-induced delayed ejaculation also doesn’t affect me as much anymore.

The NOFAP theory has a lot of truth to it. We become addicted to masturbation, we stimulate parts of the penis too aggressively with our hands, and we end up creating blood flow issues. We masturbate with a rhythm and intensity far beyond normal vaginal penetration, and we basically develop unhealthy sexual neuroplasticity.

And women experience something very similar too — the difference is that many of them blame men instead.

How to improve home exercise machines

I saw a video of a guy on TikTok who put wooden boards under his walking machine to increase the incline. Even though some machines have incline settings, the cheap ones have very little incline and the expensive ones that can reach 15% are insanely expensive. So I put solid wood underneath with an incline I’d say is around 15% more or less — I think I may have overdone it.

Another upgrade would be putting one without handles under a standing desk so you can work while walking.

Thanks to another forum user, he also recommended wearing a weighted vest while walking.

I only see advantages to nasal Melanotan.

I only see advantages to nasal Melanotan.

Let’s assume that even if it’s 20 times less effective, it still works. Therefore, it’s probably also correlated with being 20 times less harmful.

Considering this is something that still doesn’t have too much evidence behind it, and I’ve seen quite a few scare stories with the injectable version, I see it as a good option to experiment with without as much risk.

Can anyone tell me if using it nasally adds any potential risks that the injectable version doesn’t have?

Why do people experience large libido improvements after things like this?

The days after a hangover, men tend to have higher libido. It’s something I’ve talked about with many people and we all agree. Is it improved vasodilation?

On beach days when you get a lot of sun or even get sunburned, that same day we tend to have higher libido too. More nitric oxide?

On days when you slept only a few hours the night before and feel very sleepy, at least for me I also have higher libido even though I feel exhausted. What’s the explanation there? Lower prolactin?

When I used to work physically demanding jobs, like spending 8 hours destroying my body in a warehouse, I had better libido on those days than when I’ve had sedentary jobs.

And during periods where I don’t consume caffeine, I also get better libido.

Can you get scalp micropigmentation only on the sides?

Hello, I’ve been blessed with a mega-bald head where I don’t even have side hair. There are bald guys like Jason Statham who still have side hair, but I don’t even have that. And it really makes me insecure because having some side hair creates a frame for the face, while I just look like a complete lightbulb.

Are there cases like mine where a patient only gets micropigmentation on the sides?

I attach the kind of bald I have

I’ve developed blisters where I point in the image. I imagine it’s normal since I walked almost a mile on this type of cobblestone. What I don’t know is whether it’s due to friction from the cobblestones or because the stones were quite hot from the sun and I may have burned myself.

Still, I absolutely loved it. Next time I’ll walk less distance barefoot.

Questions:

If it’s friction calluses, do they eventually become more resistant over time so I’ll be able to walk barefoot for longer? Does the skin actually become tougher?

I used to go walking with barefoot shoes, but it’s not the same — you don’t feel the temperature of the ground or the thousands of other nuances. The problem is that it’s already starting to get very hot at this time of year, and the pavement will be even hotter in the coming weeks.

After 3 months on sertraline, I’m quitting because of diarrhea. I’m frustrated.

Everything was going more or less fine after 2 months taking 100 mg with almost no side effects, although with 50 mg I felt a more relaxing effect. Then they increased me to 150 mg and the diarrhea started. It didn’t matter that I later lowered it back to 100 mg for a week and then 50 mg for another week — I still had diarrhea.

In the end, even with 25 mg, although I no longer had diarrhea after every meal, I still sometimes got it with a meal taken around the same time as the dose, so I decided to stop taking it.

I’ve lost 4 kilos, I’ve lost 3 months of my life, and I spent one month of my life shitting constantly. I’m furious.

I also didn’t really like the brain fog. It’s true that it left me relaxed in the afternoons and calmed my anxiety, but at the cost of feeling like a zombie. Honestly, I’d almost rather feel normal for half the day and anxious for the other half than feel like a zombie all day.

I just wanted to vent.

containment measures when you have drywood termites in your apartment? Spain

They were in the doors. I replaced the doors and frames but not the subframes. Well, it seems they stayed inside the subframes because I’ve already seen wings around the house...

I sealed the joints of other non-infected door frames better with silicone so they can’t get in. I even used modeling clay. I also sealed cracks in corners and imperfections.

I’m strapping furniture and sealing floor joints as best as I can with weatherstrips.

Weatherstrips on the doors too, to block passage through the gaps from room to room.

I’m going to buy UV light flying insect traps since, from what I saw on this forum, the winged nymphs are attracted to them, get stuck, and die. They even sell them on Amazon.

Any more ideas? What could I do for the ones that are possibly still inside the subframes besides calling a company?

Boric acid doesn’t work and doesn’t kill them.

Is walking barefoot on concrete the same as wearing barefoot shoes?

Whenever I’ve walked on concrete with my Saguaro shoes and no insoles, it feels strange. It’s not like truly walking barefoot — your movement feels less natural, and you notice the impact more, even though the shoes are supposed to be super flexible and soft.

However, I remember walking completely barefoot on concrete and not having that feeling at all.

What do you think? I’d honestly like to walk fully barefoot, but I get embarrassed, so I end up driving to places I know are kind of empty so I don’t feel awkward xD

What do you think about SOLARIUMS (tanning beds)?

Whenever I go, I have better erections and a better mood.

Which minimalist shoes have the thinnest and softest soles?

I bought some Saguaro Smart shoes because I could easily sell them on Amazon, but from what I've read, they have very hard soles compared to other minimalist shoes, and even less so with insoles.

Any recommendations?

Is there any problem with taking sertraline twice a day, 8 hours apart?

As long as the cycle lasts 24 hours, the dose is 50 mg in two doses, one at 11am, other at 8 pm

I like it this way because 25 mg in the morning energizes me, and another 25 mg in the afternoon relaxes me and gives me the mental clarity I need.
