I used the fancy new Capcut referral program for the first time today. Sent a link from my MacBook to a family member's MacBook. Person used the link to download Capcut, installed it, then used a Google account to sign in. And that's it. Neither of us has received ANY signs of free Pro. And we both really need it. What did I do wrong here? Was there something with the code on the link page I was supposed to have them do? Is there ANY way to salvage this? SOS I'm so confused. 😣

I literally extracted an edit about an hour ago without any problems, suddenly the exact same edit can't be downloaded because the extract audio is now a standard feature?? I didn't update the app or anything.

Capcut what the actual hell.

When I hit play... then pause.. then play again.. it starts from the beginning... I dont want that.. I want to start from the point I have selected or paused!

Why is this so complicated?!?

I just want to resume from the pause point!

Hello. I need help when exporting a video I created for an event. The project is simple and completed but when I hit export only 28seconds of the 40seconds export. Ive tried doing the project again. I have selected all the details trying to fix this but still always get to the 28second mark. This mark coincides with one of the cuts made to the original video for editing. This is important for our association so would even say I can share the project with someone willing to help me figure out the problem.

So I am trying to teach myself Capcut and am working on a video short. I realized my main video edits were in a layer above the actual timeline, so I moved them down. But now Capcut is refusing to let me drag the background image I need (anime classroom in the example above) below my timeline. It's super frustrating, sound files can live "below" the main timeline but not an image? Can anyone help me figure out what I'm doing wrong?

This is on Capcut for Mac.

Whenever I have AI backgrounds in my video, it gives me a little watermark that says it's made with AI. Unfortunately, I can't seem to remove it- the "AI remove" tool crashes and takes my credits if I try doing that on the rendered video. All I use their AI for is background images, and I *need* to remove the watermarks because my videos are advertisements for my church and it would look unprofessional.

So what am I supposed to do? The online "remove watermark from video" tools don't work. Capcut's own "AI remove" tool doesn't work. How can I get the watermark out of my rendered video???

Basically all the mods I've installed need to be updated or say "no internet connection." Anyone has a mod that actually works?

I use desktop on a Macbook Pro. I was hoping to uninstall my current version and download an older one on uptodown. The main reason is for the autocaptions feature.

Most of the guides I'm seeing are for Windows and I am reading conflicting info on whether or not it will auto update. Or that if needs to be kept offline. If it isn't online can I still use stickers etc?

So I just realized CapCut is taking up 79GB on my iPhone… yeah, insane.

I know I can upload projects to the cloud to clear space, but the problem is:

1. There’s no way to sort/filter projects by size (especially hard when I have I 500+ projects...)

2. Uploading or deleting them one by one takes FORVER

On desktop it’s way easier to manage, but on iOS there’s no “largest files first” filter which makes it EXTREMELY annoying to scroll thru all my projects.

At this rate it’s gonna take me hours just to free up space.

Does anyone know a faster way to mass upload projects to the cloud? Or any hidden settings or hacks to sort by file size?
