Hi- My apartment has a living/dining/kitchen area with a lot of paintings and other art pieces. I am replacing my 4 can lights in my living room (FINALLY!) with spot lights. My electrician will use a can light conversion kit so i could use any fixture once we do that.

I was looking for spot lights that allow me to change beam angles, dimmable , no more than 3000K and CRI >= to 95.

I found some spot lights by Buster & Punch which i liked the look of- I learned that SORAA makes some of the best GU10 bulbs that we could use with those spotlights.

Then, I found these recently but dont seem to know much about lighting (trying to learn!) so i came here wanting your advice:

Apturi III [ Framing Light ] 15W LED High CRI Track Light - Lumicrest LED Lighting

I will not be using a track system at home but they said they could be used individually with a connector.

What are your thoughts about the Buster Punch regular spotlights with a SORAA bulb vs the Apturi III? Thanks a ton!

My husband does not have a definite diagnosis of Parkinsons yet. He had an EMG 5 days ago for motor neuron disease (was being evaluated for ALS) but no evidence found. Symptom was weakness in 1 hand. Report out 2 days ago - showed multiple radiculopathies but during the EMG, his neurologist said "this looks like Parkinsons". At the time, the neurologist asked my husband to start Sinemet and that is the best way to find out if its Parkinsons or not. However, my husband has multiple cardiology related issues too which have landed him in the ER 3 times before with low BP along with tachycardia. He usually runs high bp and has been on 3 BP meds to manage his condition.

After his 1st dose today, his BP dropped for several hours afterwards enough for us to discontinue this drug.

For those of you with PD and low BP: How do you manage with Sinemet?

Hi. I recently purchased a ready made 3/4 inch depth floater frame. I would like to put in a 1/8 inch panel painting. I would like to build it up about 1/2 inch from the back so the painting itself is not recessed too much into the frame.

My understanding is that I would glue the panel to the whatever i use to build up the depth and the "whatever i use" is going to be screwed into the frame itself.

I'm trying to figure out the "whatever i use to build up the depth" part. Would love some advice 😄

Thank you so much!

I saw that Best Buy now has a marketplace on its website and it makes me apprehensive about buying a cell phone on their site not knowing who these small retailers are and where theyre getting their product.

2 bed/2bath apartment. No bathrooms need to be painted. So its 2 bedrooms inclusive of ceiling, trims and doors.

For the walls, the homeowner wants glaze mixed with a benjamin moore aura paint and brush applied all over the walls, trim, and doors. Color matched from a Farrow Ball paint by a paint store that will do it. Then a second coat with a lighter color dabbed with a sponge all over the walls.

For the ceiling, roller is ok.

How would you price this job- its a 1100 sq ft apartment. Or rather..how much would you charge for this? Thanks a ton!

There seems to be no problem with T-mobile for my spouse who has an iphone. I refuse to use an iPhone though!

I just use my phone for the usual social media apps and websites. I am not big on photos or games or other stuff. Do not want a super expensive phone.

Thinking of one of the Galaxy S models. FE was probably a mistake and I should not have bought it but who knows...

Please give me some advice- I do not know much about cell phones.

Hi. I would like to mirror the wall to the right (as seen in photos) of the windows. I would order the mirrors -thinking 2 panels- and then antique them to take away some of the mirroring.

The width of the wall is 25 and 5/8inches. the length from the top of the window frame to the bottom of the ledge under the window is 80inches.

Trying to figure out the perfect width of the mirrors!? Also any other helpful advice is much appreciated. Thanks 😄
