S26 Ultra or Oppo find X9 pro?

Guys im stuck in a dilemma. Im currently using the Galaxy A73 and want to retire it from service. Which device is the best considering that the budget is not an issue. I am a moderate user who spends about 3 hours on social media, 1-2 hours on reddit and 1-2 hours on YouTube/OTT apps. Cameras need to be good

The only thing holding me back from buying the oppo is lower brand value and software bugs reported by existing users and the amazing experience I've had with OneUI which I feel will be compromised if I go with oppo

Edit: please add in depth reviews for either of the products if you have first hand experience with them

Need a new phone urgently

I’m currently using a OnePlus Nord CE 5G for almost 5 years and it’s basically dying now (freezing, overheating especially with Android Auto, random restarts, buttons failing, unable to turn screen off ,sim not detecting), so I need to upgrade soon and I’ve been looking at the OnePlus 15 (512GB) which I really like mainly because of the design, battery, and performance, but the price (around 2600–3000 AED) is a bit high for me; my requirements are pretty specific — I need 512GB storage, dual physical SIM + eSIM support, strong battery + fast charging, and something that will last me 5+ years, and I’m also not a fan of those big round camera designs on the back, which is why I like the OP15 since it moved to a more square/clean camera layout similar to iPhones , and honestly I would have just gone for an iPhone if it supported proper dual SIM flexibility the way I want, so now I’m stuck — is the OnePlus 15 actually worth stretching my budget for long-term use, or is there any real alternative (not just “okay” but actually comparable) apart from the 15R, because that feels like a downgrade to me; for someone who keeps phones for years, is it smarter to just go flagship once or save money now and compromise? Preferably in UAE

Ayuda!! s25 ultra o z flip 7?

Android phone recommendation

An iPhone user since 2022 and want to come back to Android as the battery is atrocious now!

I wish to buy an Android phone with good battery back-up and camera. I am not a gamer just play puzzle based games. Abhor the bluetooth headphones so would love a phone with 3.5mm jack or at least with funcitoning adapter.

Used the OP5 prior to the iPhone and honestly, it was sooo good. But recent stories about OP's green screen sounds risky to invest.

Budget can extend upto 40K.

Best Android phone in 2026? (Coming from Pixel 8 Pro – reliability issues)

Hey all,

Looking for some advice on upgrading my phone and would appreciate some opinions.

I’m currently using a Google Pixel 8 Pro (had it about 2 years), but I’ve had ongoing issues with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and hotspot reliability. At this point it’s become frustrating enough that I’m looking to switch away from Pixel, even though I really like the software and camera.

My usage:

Travel a lot

Heavy Bluetooth use (earbuds, car, etc.)

Frequent hotspot/tethering

Lots of media/music

Don’t game

Don’t need pro-level photography, just solid and reliable

So reliability, connectivity, and battery matter more to me than raw performance.

Phones I’m considering (Ireland pricing):

Poco F8 Ultra (12GB/256GB) – €599 (keep my €20 unlimited plan)

Xiaomi X8 Pro Max – €450

Nothing Phone (3) – €650

Nothing Phone (4a Pro) – €450

Google Pixel 10 Pro XL – €800

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra – €179 upfront + €65/month for 24 months

My thoughts so far:

I like Pixel OS and camera, but I’ve lost trust due to connectivity issues

Nothing OS looks great, but I’m concerned about camera + chipset vs others

Poco F8 Ultra seems like the best value/performance option right now

Samsung S26 Ultra seems like the safest all-rounder, but very expensive over 2 years

What I’m mainly trying to figure out:

Which of these has the most reliable connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, hotspot)?

Is Samsung worth the huge price difference vs something like Poco?

Are Nothing phones actually good long-term, or more style over substance?

Has anyone moved from Pixel due to similar issues — what did you switch to?

Any other phones I should consider (e.g. OnePlus, etc.)?

Right now I’m leaning towards the Poco F8 Ultra, but open to being convinced otherwise.

Would really appreciate any real-world experiences or recommendations 🙏

Smart Phone Recommendation

Looking for a midrange phone (preferably around ₱15–20K but maybe can extend up to 25k) with 6000mAh above battery, 70W above charging , good camera with OIS, and 4K60fps rear camera and 4K60fps selfie camera and also 8/256 GB above — especially strong in both rear and selfie, prioritizing camera and battery performance over chipset performance.

What's a good phone for privacy and anti-spam?

Thinking about switching phones and trying to be a bit more privacy focused this time around. Main thing I care about is less tracking and better spam call and text blocking. Any recommendations?

Bought a 40k phone and it is close to dead after 4 years. Suggest a new phone

I have this mindset that if I spend as much as 40k on a phone then it should be good for a lot more than 4 years. I bought a OnePlus 9rt 4 years back and close to a year back it started giving me problems. The battery doesn't last even 3.5 hours on full usage. Suggest a new phone as I don't want to spend too much. My preferences are battery and performance, Camera not too much. I shortlisted vivo t5x and CMF phone 2 pro (unavailable at the moment). Please suggest something better if you can.

My S23 battery's dying, what new phone should I get?

Getting new phone after 3 years. Nothing changed much, eh...So situation in Austria:

Google Pixel 10 Pro 289 €

Honor Magic8 Pro 419 €

Xiaomi 17 Ultra 549 €

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 639 €

Vivo X300 Pro 5G 599 €

iPhone 17 Pro 699 €

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 739 €

So I was checking out prices at my provider and it kind of looks weird. My Samsung phone is 3 years old, it works fine, but battery is garbage... should I wait for something like Pixel 11 pro or just pick one now?

S25u is not much cheaper then S26u to follow "buy last year flagship for much cheaper".

Magic8 pro is all over shilled to max. And it seems it is not that good as the people getting it for free say it is.

Iphone 17pro looks like fair priced, but I never had Iphone in my life and I am not sure would I miss some Android stuff I take for granted. Considering it because lots of friend have Iphone and never looked back. It seems camera and battery is also fine and it is more less bulletproof in future trades or sale since they keep their price more then Android phones.

Pixel 10pro price looks like too good to be true. Never used Pixel before. People say battery is bad and stuff like that. Maybe better wait for 11pro even with this low price...

Xiaomi... I always think their stuff is half baked. Notifications never coming and ads poping up... and people say it's more camera then a phone. Not really positive for me. Also the price is pretty high for Xiaomi, but I guess it is still better choice then Magic8 pro...or not?

Vivo X300pro has unusually high price. But it seems to be one of the better chinese phones. But with this pricing it should be better to add some and get Iphone 17pro or S26u (I believe). Also it is more expensive then Xiaomi 17u and Honor Magic8 pro...weird

Honor Magic8 Pro v Samsung S26 v Xiaomi 17

Haven't used Xiaomi in a while so don't know how bad hyperos is. Currently on Samsung A52s and love that phone and software. Never updated but unfortunately it needs to go because of damages to body and bad battery, also could use a better camera.

I'm leaning towards Honor maybe, want big worry free battery.

My biggest issue is third party app support with Honor, stuff like teams , camera in other apps not working, other bugs maybe? Should I just go with Samsung even though I feel battery would be terrible and I only get 256 g of storage?

Oneplus 15 or Oppo find x9 or Xiaomi 17 or Vivo x300?

im looking for small flagship phone and those 4 seems to be the great options except for oneplus and oppo. they are basically the same price here with vivo at the cheapest. but i dont mind the oppo one coz of its 6.6 inch so not that massive.

ive been using xiaomi basically for my whole time owning a phone so might be boring going for xiaomi again. but i really like the overall design and feature that comes with xiaomi 17, i really care about battery size and charging speed which is why im not including samsung.

camera is an afterthought for me. i personally dont really care but if it can take a good shot once in a while it would be great

i only heard good thing about oxygenOS/colorOS so that might be good option for me coz i care mostly about everyday usage smooth UI/UX and stuff

any opinion about my options or you guys have other you have in mind to suggest?

Are any of the Chinese Spec-Monster Phones actually worth it? ( From your Long-Term Experience)

As a total Package Compared to Something like Samsung S25U/ S26U or Iphone 17 Pro.

I have personally had Xiaomi 17 Ultra and Vivo X200 Pro , both have crazy good spec sheets with Supposedly Monster Cameras...

However the Reality was totally different...and the Overall Experience/usability of both were SubPar to my S25 Ultra in every possible way.

Software was dreadful , camera experience was just unreliable in every way possible. Battery on Xiaomi was worse than on my S25u even tho it has larger battery capacity.

Pictures were AI Infested and often straight up weird, videos were Janky with bunch of glitches constantly. Microphones on both for video recording were terrible.

Screen and Speaker quality again absolutely Subpar compared to Samsung or iPhone

As someone who uses a Phone Camera for 3-4h every single day to record content, the reliability of the cameras for video recording were just so incredibly unreliable compared to Samsung/Iphone that it's not even funny...

Yet everyone praises these Phones and say they have the best cameras only because they have Nice Hardware Specs :(

What phone should I get?

Currently I have a realme 12 5G and I wanted to get something better. I really like the realmeUI, but since OnePlus, realme and oppo are all under BBK Electronics, getting a phone from either company will result in the same or similar features. I want something I can play games in with good performance and it must have a USB c with dp alt mode (video output). Optionally I also want a small phone, but if that's not possible it's ok. I also want something affordable without my wallet crying.

Edit: phones with a microSD card are rare, but if there's one that has it, it would be great

[Help] Buying a reliable phone for my Mother (Budget Flexible) - Samsung vs. Others?

Hi everyone, I’m looking to buy a new phone for my mother. She has a few specific technical requirements (for certain apps/work), and I want something that is "good in all terms", reliable, easy to use, and long-lasting.

> **The Requirements:**

> * **OS:** Must be Android 12.0 or higher.

> * **Hardware:** At least 4GB RAM and a decent amount of storage (the requirement is only 8GB, but I want more for photos/WhatsApp).

> * **Must-haves:** Excellent GPS for **viewing maps** and a reliable **PDF viewer** for documents.

> **What I’m considering:**

> I was looking at the **OnePlus 15R** and **Vivo V70 Lite**, but I’m worried the OnePlus might be too heavy/overkill and the Vivo might not be the best "all-rounder" for a parent.

> I'm now leaning towards **Samsung** (maybe the **Galaxy A57** or **S24 FE**) because of the simpler software and long-term update support.

> **Budget:** Flexible, but I don't want to overspend on features she won't use (like high-end gaming).

> **Questions:**

> 1. Which Samsung model is the "sweet spot" for a parent right now?

> 2. Is it worth getting a flagship like the S25 series, or is that a waste for basic use?

> 3. Are there any other lightweight, reliable phones I should consider?

> Thanks for the help!

(Also I was leaning towards Oneplus 15R, is it true that the device heats up? And chances of getting neon lines is high?)

Looking for an opinion for a phone to chose

Hello everyone, there are several phones that fit my budget, sold at a place where I live and I could filter to 4 potential candidates, that have the same price tag.

I want a bigger screen than normal compact 6.3 inch ones.

Don't really care about gaming on my phone, I don't do it at all.

My main activities are serfing on the internet, video calling from time to time, reading, watching videos or multitasking, like doin some spreadsheets/word work stuff with video running on background on youtube or twitch.

I like a good camera, but my current phone is iphone XR, so I guess any camera upgrade is good enough here.

Potential Candidates:

Nothing phone 4(a) Pro
Xiaomi 15t Pro
Oneplus 15R

?Pixel 10? -> it has 6.3 inch screen, but if it is really a killer phone compared to other options, maybe I can try it out

What do you think will be a good pick for me, I guess for a good allrounder for price, also, consdiering my use-cases, I suppose OS quality is very important for me, I have never been exposed to any of the OSs of those 3 phones.

Appreciate your help!
