I was looking to get a price match for a product at my local microcenter. Best buy had it on their website and I started chatting with an agent. After investigating, he told me to buy the product on the website and he would connect me to someone who would help me get the price match.

So I bought it as he said. Afterwards they said they won't honor the price match because they can't add the product to the cart on the website. Microcenter only sells in store. Does that mean they don't price match Microcenter at all?

I thought it was listed as one of the qualified competitors? Then you could never price match them based on that criteria. Very frustrating, but whatever. After chatting for an hour I just want it cancelled. Nope. They can't. Well problem is, is that item is 'Final Sale, Non-returnable'.

I only bought it because the agent told me to buy it and it would be price matched. Now I have to somehow refuse delivery or get them to send someone to pick it up. Is all this ill will and extra work really worth the $20 price match?? I don't see how that even make financial sense let alone customer good will.

Bought some speakers a month ago and been checking the return window a couple of times, in case the fit wasn’t right. The product was listed for 60 days return window consistently. I had that happen before, and didn’t think twice about it.

Turns out that’s a “glitch” that magically gets resolved when you are past the standard 15 days return window. I mean, is this just next level deceptive by design? Anyone had similar experience?

I saw things going downhill with the inflow of third party marketplace sellers, but this is the nail in the coffin.

Hello my name is is James, as the title says I want to return a pc past the 60 day period. I bought it on January 10 but exchanged it for a new one on January 14 because it had some problems. About a month ago around march 20 something, my pc was facing the same problems that I experienced in the past. I called Best Buy to see if it could return it but they said I couldn’t and to contact the manufacturer for the warranty. I contacted them (IBuyPower) to see if they could fix it, they said yes but I have to ship the item to them using my own money. Now I’m wondering if I can go in store and ask for a one time exception for a return. I’m pretty sure I can’t but I just want to see some second opinions,

Has anyone had trouble with refund ? I ordered an online order then it was automatically canceled because it was unavailable, I’ve been waiting for the refund to come back which is to a Best Buy physical cord anyways I’ve been trying to get help and every time it’s a different answer “ it should be there in 24 hours “ then it’s “42 hours “ then it’s “ oh you already should’ve gotten it “ and now I’m being told the process isn’t being made for the refund ??! I paid a little amount with my bank and that was refunded immensely just not the Best Buy cord , when I call the Best Buy gift cord support team they’re absolutely no help they tell me to contact the end team because it’s awaiting authorization and it should be released within 3-5 business days and again I was told no process is being made !! And they also told me that my Best Buy cord wasn’t even charged and it should be on there !? So what the hell is going on and you have to wait 3-5 days just for a dam email back ??? What the actual fuck

7 years of pain and agony will come to end this year. Hopefully Jason is better.

I’m coming from Walmart OGP, have been there for about a year now. I’m just looking for something similar with better pay potentially or at the very least more opportunity for hours. I’m already used to manual labor side of it as I’ll often walk 10-15 miles per shift, carry heavy merchandise like flat screen TVs, weight sets, car batteries, etc. Just wanna know what I’m in for if I get the job, I’m sure it’s not anything I’m not already used to. I live in Sandy Springs, Georgia and I collect Lego with my oldest daughter. We are looking to see if any area stores still have the Best Buy exclusive Lego Arcade Race available? Unfortunately I have not found a SKU and from my understanding, it’s only sold at the checkout desk. Any local areas have one that we can come and purchase? TIA!

I wanted to return the Meta Oakley Vanguard sunglasses I bought (because I realized $500 is way too much for some sunglasses) but it was 30 days past, and Best Buy only lets you return 14 days after you purchase.

I was able to sign up for My Best Buy Plus, which is $50 per year. This extends your return window to 60 days. I thought ok well at least I’m getting most of my money back. But you can actually cancel My Best Buy Plus by calling customer service right after and get your $50 back too.

I ordered a Crucial P510 2TB SSD from Best Buy. I got lucky to get this for $230 especially it’s a Gen 5 compared to other brand named SSDs being $300+.

It got it delivered today and it was suspicious that the retail box was “opened” since the seal to hold it was peeling off. I opened it and it does not look it missing but the big giveaway was the SSD was placed reversed in its plastic container.

So to verify if it was legit, like what I always do with new PC hardware I always test it.

When I checked the storage capacity in Disk Management, I was dumbfounded that it’s being detected as a 1TB instead of a 2TB. I don’t know if it was tampered with and got swapped. I definitely returning it but if they asked why I’m returning should I tell them the truth that it’s not a 2TB drive instead it’s a 1TB and will they believe me?

So I have Airpods Max 2 and I was unaware of how recent they came out but i tried to trade them in with hopes of getting enough money to buy a PS5 without having to come out of pocket. I spent around 550 for them and thought maybe I’d get around 175 to 200 I was told the resale value of them is 275 however when I went to best buy for a trade in they told me that because of the fact that the Airpods had only been out for a year I think that they could not trade them in. They’re just too new any clue as to why stores do this ? I went to an electronics store that does trade ins and what not and they said the same thing. I’m taking them to the pawn shop tomorrow along with a double monitor to see if they’ll take them but I never considered the fact that if its a fairly new they won’t take it (the store clerk did mention something about apple specifically and a policy that they uphold with them).

So in technicality this phone was released on the best buy website on the 15th. It has been 12 days since i made the pre-order (Nothing 4a Pro). I did the pre-order because if you did you get 100 dollars off. Cashier told me i have to put 50 down which i did. It has not come yet i tried asking for updates and nothing (ironic lol). It’s almost at that point where im almost fed up.

Should i wait or is it cooked?

This would most likely ignored, but I would like to give a shout out for Blossom Hill Employees for pick up. I bought a "Fair" Conditioned monitor today, and was shocked at the state of it. No box, just a monitor on a stand with the power cable taped to it. My first reaction was shock, however I asked if I can test the monitor at the geek squad. They said sure, as long as it is claimed. After waiting for a few moments of for Geeksquad, the employee asked if we can just plug it in and test it ourselves. Above and beyond. Had friendly conversation with them about their monitors and left feeling fantastic about the experience. I think we see more negative experience because they tend to be the most vocal, however I would like to put this experience out there for a great experience. Good job San Jose Blossom hill team.
