Took my sister's preppy boyfriend to an Exodus concert and he moshed

Not using preppy as means to degrade, just as a means to describe. My sister's boyfriend has never experienced a true metal concert before. He went to see A Day to Remember when invited by my other sister but has never experienced thrash metal or the culture surrounding it. He doesn't even listen to metal at all. He was dressed in a Hello Kitty shirt and some cargo shorts. We stayed seated through the 2 opening acts and when Exodus was about to hit the stage he got really excited and said, "Guys let's go on the floor!''

I was with my sister towards the back of the pit and her boyfriend was up at the stage. Dude was getting down. We go towards the front with him when the pit clears. The Toxic Waltz is about to start. Neither my sister or her boyfriend are fully aware of what is about to go down. Neither of them are familiar with metal music or with Exodus.

The song starts, the pit starts. We are the wall of the pit and pushing people as they run into us. My sister's boyfriend gets excited and goes zooming into the pit with my husband. He is having the time of his life. My sister and I stay at the wall while the crowd goes nuts within. He comes out out of breath and with the biggest smile on his face. A true mosher in his Hello Kitty shirt.

I was so proud of him.

Picked up this vinyl today and I've never heard of these guys. What is the general consensus of this band? Are they considered good?

I saw that a member of Iron Savior featured on this album and I had to get it. It was $20. What do you like about this band? What do you dislike? It was a crazy find at a Books a Million.

Got this crazy niche vinyl from a Books a Million.

I am a sucker for power metal. Never heard of this band but I saw that a member of Iron Savior is featured on it. It was only $20 and the artwork on it is cool. I don't know if I'll like it or not. I looked on Spotify and these guys are basically unheard of.

This fan page for an artist reached out to me to talk about music. I think this is a chat bot.

This fanpage that is allegedly associated with the real artist has been interacting with my profile and asking me questions. I dropped that I'm in criminal justice to see how it would react. I think this is a ChatGPT bot. The way it speaks is unnatural, over descriptive, and it takes a short amount of time to respond.

So I posted this TikTok video of my first concert & my most recent concert. I didn't use any footage from the actual concerts just music video clips. First concert was to see a Christian artist who was big back then. He was a Hip Hop/Pop gospel singer. Lots of praising God and all that. My most recent concert was a death metal band.

It was basically to showcase how funny it is that I evolved from a Hip Hop gospel group to a dude screaming into a microphone about decomposition. I have occult imagery on my TikTok page. It is a metal centered account where I post recommendations, song showcases, concert stuff.

This account claiming to be a fan page where you can book the gospel singer (doubt it) saw my post featuring said artist. They liked the video, went to my page, followed me, and liked some more of my posts. I have a Christian based account for a gospel singer interacting with my profile when I have occult shit and screaming bands on display. Literally the next post over is an album cover of a woman burning on an inverted cross.

I'm not very sure what this person is hoping to get out of me. It's probably a scammer but them targeting me is hilarious. Have any of you gotten weird accounts like this following you before?

To start things off, I'm a woman. To prevent brigading and giving these women additional exposure I will not mention the subreddit

So I go on a subreddit sometimes that's supposed to be a SFW topic about a specific type of clothing. Unfortunately, and this isn't me stretching the truth, a huge majority of the posts are OF girls baiting for subscribers. If you see a woman posting on there, there's a 90% chance it's softcore & she has some type of adult content available. It is VERY pervasive to the point a lot of people have blocked the subreddit from their feed.

You open the subreddit and are immediately met with softcore. You can't even see the clothing sometimes that the subreddit is about. Bare asses, camel toes, boobs, can't even see the clothing. When I post on there I try to be gender ambiguous. I want to share my collection of the clothes I have collected but I have no where else to share them on Reddit. This is the only subreddit for this clothing.

The people on there just assume you're an OF girl because most the woman in there are. So you get DMs from people asking about your OF if they figure out you're a woman. I just want to share my clothes and talk about other people's clothes. The subreddit has devolved into an OF plug and all the normal people have left.

I got rid of my main Facebook account years ago. I have a burner account I connected to games I used to play. I go on there sometimes to look at the Facebook groups I've joined and that's pretty much it. The Facebook groups are cat, metal, craft, and taxidermy related. I'm not in any political groups. I do not comment on anything outside of these groups.

My Facebook feed outside of the groups is literally nothing but rage bait. It is stuff to make people angry. I don't interact with it and it pops up. Is this a thing for anyone else? Where Facebook pushes a ton of stuff that is controversial and upsets people?

It could be called something else but my dad said they had monkeys in a glass enclosure. He calls it The Monkey Bar. He saw Motley Crue get beat up and thrown out of there. Was wondering if anybody here was around during this time period and knows about this bar.

I was experiencing symptoms of a newly diagnosed chronic illness at the time. It was a good way to pass time while I was unable to work.

I was driving to work this morning in my Camry. Me and the car in the left lane were the last cars to go at a green light before it turned red. The intersection has crossway traffic coming off the interstate and a 3rd lane opens up for the interstate people to get on. It turns into a merge lane though.

So I'm driving in the middle lane next to the merge lane. There's traffic in front of me. The merge lane is open. A semi coming off the interstate was able to catch up with traffic due to the merge lane being clear. I look over and suddenly see the white cab of a semi closing in next to my car.

He wasn't stopping. He was merging on top of me. I didn't even look and jerked the wheel into the left lane. I would've rather been hit by a car than a semi. He could've looked out his window and seen me. I wasn't in a blind spot. He had also came up from behind me so there's no way he didn't at least know I was there.

I was terrified. Thankfully the left lane was open. The semi overtook my original lane. Fully in it. If had not moved he would've hit me. If there was a car in the left lane I would've been hit. This driver put me in such a bad situation. He could've just waited for me. There was no one behind me. He could've merged then.

I feel like I'm going crazy as all mention of this subreddit existing has been scrubbed off the internet. Basically Reddit incels made a subreddit where they were planning on buying a private island to make their own country. The head dude of all of this was an allegedly wealthy guy. They were planning on luring drug addicted women to the island and use them as breeders. They wanted to make a whole society where women were oppressed and forcibly married off to the men so nobody would be an incel anymore.

Does anybody else remember this? I remember they were particularly let down by having to get women who were on drugs but they didn't think they could convince sober women.

I think it was r/Incelopolis or r/Projectincelopolis.
