Kids stoning cyclists at royal canal.

Just a heads up or warning to anyone cycling along royal canal, there's 5 kids around 11-13 years old throwing hefty enough rocks and stones and cyclists. Be careful, I got one to the rib. Didn't realise they were throwing them until I got in range of the fools.

Trash Talk My Steam Store Page

Hey, I have recently revamped my entire steam store page from screenshots to description and finally trailer. I'd love to know what works and what doesn't, it's always hard to accurately criticize your own work so any feedback is appreciated.

The game is called Dwarf Guild Mania. I don't have many sales/wishlists (approx 1000 wishlists outstanding). I am wondering if this is a result of poor steam page, poor marketing, or just a game people dont want to play, which is fine, it was fun to develop.

I am open to harsh criticism :)

As a die hard strategy game stan I decided to try out game development. This led me to spending the last 2 years building a turn based 4X game about capitalist dwarves exploiting the world for their own greed. Its definitely not inspired by the real world...

Short description: Lead a campaign of glory as you mine, trade, spy, & sabotage your way to victory. Your guild of dwarves must vanquish its rivals and conquer the realm in this turn-based economic strategy game. Lead your capitalist dwarves across new lands in search of gems and gold. For the Guild!

Yesterday I published Dwarf Guild Mania on Steam after a solid year of development. I love strategy games and wanted to build a more casual economy driven game. It still has more traditional 4X elements but the emphasis is definitely on building your empires economy and collapsing your rivals economies through sabotage, back room dealings, etc.

Everything was all ready to go when I decided, screw it, im going to rebuild the main UI from scratch. So from 7am until 6pm when i released it I rebuilt the entire UI. I'd love to know what you guys think of it? Does it look appealing or cheap? I'm a subscriber to the belief that bad UI = bad experience = not motivated to play the game so I'd hate for my own game to fall into that camp.

Launching my first game on Steam tomorrow. Needless to say I'm dead excited. Celebrating with a chipper. The gamer is called Dwarf Guild Mania and it's a economy driven strategy where you create a guild of capitalist dwarves and lead them to glory. I've been working on this game for the past year after hours.

I wanted to share it because it has a lot of Irish influence in it. In fact, all the possible dwarf and town names are Irish names.

If anyone has any feedback on what you think about the Steam page I would love to hear it before going live.

Yo everyone, as a strategy lover I'm proud to say my game about leading capitalist dwarves to glory is launching on Steam..... tomorrow! Dwarf Guild Mania is a 4x turn based economy focused game where you lead your guild of dwarves to a new land in search of gems and gold. Mine, trade, spy, & sabotage your way to victory.

I've posted here a few times before looking for feedback and I really took that feedback to heart so I wanted to say thank you, the game is the better of all that feedback. If you are interested in the game check it out on Steam and maybe drop it a wishlist :)

Well, the release date has arrived. This Thursday I'm going to be launching my game, Dwarf Guild Mania. The build has been Steam approved and we are ready for launch. Regardless of how well or poor the launch goes I'm happy I actually get to hit the release button on a game I'm largely proud of.

I underestimated how much effort there is in being the person who does all the programming, modelling, texturing, music writing, designing, balancing, and marketing. Big props to anyone who manages to release a game let alone a successful one, I now know what you guys go through.

I've posted on this sub a few times looking for feedback and it really helped make the game what it is today, from the game itself to the Steam page. I really appreciate all the feedback. Before launching I wanted to ask if anyone has any last feedback on the Steam page I would love to hear it! The artwork may not be the strongest but any feedback that could be given to me would be great.
