The ear mould on my sons hearing aid has a small rip in it near the tubing. Is there anyway to fix it temporarily? We have an appointment on the 25th to get new moulds fitted, but they won't arrive til a week or two after that. So I'd like to fix them until then .
I'm vaguely remembering a youtuber I used to listen to. I think he just read and reacted to viral content. It was a faceless channel, and at the end of his videos he would tell us to remember to " drink a sufficient amount of water" I think he called the listeners H2Hos and Rollerbros. How do I have more self control when it comes to eating sweets/junk food? I have quite the sweet tooth, and like to stock up and get a few treats for myself when I do my grocery order. But, I typically end up eating everything very fast. When i don't have treats on hand, I walk to the nearby gas station and buy them, but it's much more expensive. I don't know how to have more will power and only eat half a bar a day. I will absent mindedly just eat 2-3 bars or bags of gummies during the day if they are in the house.
Are sign names only supposed to be given by Deaf people, or can they be given by anyone who uses ASL as a primary language? My son is HOH, but due to autism he is also non verbal and uses ASL as his primary language. Would it be appropriate for him to assign his little brother a sign name instead of just calling him " brother"?
How do you switch the time you take your pill? I usually take mine at 3, but I want to switch the time I take it to a few hours earlier. Do I go slowly, moving the time up a bit each day? We got a crazy wind storm last night, with gusts up to 50-60km/h. Due to this our trampoline flew across the yard and almost broke. We saved it by removing the legs, and wedging it between the deck and shed, so it couldn't move again. But, for the future, if we ever get wind like that again, is there a way to secure the trampoline in place?
When I try to comment in groups it says i am "temporarily restricted from this action", and on my home page there is a notice saying I am restricted from commenting and joining groups until July 29th 2026. But I don't understand why. Under support it says I have no violations, and the AI assistant says they don't see any restrictions on my account. I don't post anything inappropriate/rude/controversial etc, so I don't understand what is happening. I have never been restricted before either, so 3 months seems extreme.
How does 1st vs 2nd payer insurance work? We have 2 dental insurances for my son, and thd 1st payer usually covers everything 100%, but we have been told that they aren't accepting direct billing at the moment since they don't have a director? Can I use my 2nd payer instead, or do I just have to eat the full cost out of pocket for now and wait for whenever they have a director hired to get reimbursement? My son is the only one on our first payer plan, and we have always just used that one for him. He is only on the 2nd one, since I signed him up when I was enrolling the rest of the family. So the 2nd insurance carrier is the primary for the rest of the family and usually covers 70-90%
I've been having issues with my feet lately. When I sit for awhile my toes start to turn purple. It's worse when my legs are crossed one over the other. They feel cold and somewhat numb when this happens, and when i get up and walk they tingle. They also tingle when I start walking first thing in the morning when I get out of bed. Considering going for a apbi test to see if it's PAD, but is there anything else I should consider?
I am writing a story and one of my main characters needs to hack into a website. I know nothing about hacking at all, so I'm just curious how it works?
