I'm working on this Stormcast Eternal Knight Incantor mini, trying gold NMM for the first time. How am I doing ?
Close up 360 of my Royal Warden in the Nihilakh Dynasty colours.

I got this model for free with a magazine. Was fun to paint !
So yeah, finally got round to painting the man (metal man ?) Himself.
Never working with that finecast resin crap again 😂 what a nightmare !
I hope he gets the ol' update treatment soon, he really needs it and we all want it. Let's be honest.
Side note: I used GSW's colour shift metal paint on his cloak, let me know if the shift in hues are visible to you. I've been staring at him for too long haha
Recently painted one of these guys up. I mainly wanted to paint the wolf if I'm honest 😄 but I couldn't not do the rider.
I was thinking if they ever updated these models the wolves would have to be even bigger to support a Primaris lol

More progress on this Stormcast Eternal Knight Incantor. First proper go at gold NMM.... NMM is hard 😂
I've got a few of these laying around so I decided to paint one up and challenge myself.
Had a first time go at the lava base effect and had to complete it in 6 hours.
I believe that to improve as a painter, you need to push yourself out of your comfort zone more and try new things.
Here are my Necron Warriors with Royal Warden and Scarabs. Painted in the Nihilakh dynasty.
More to do, more to come. I'll post close ups of the Royal Warden soon.
Thought I'd share the last big model I painted. My friend 3d printed the base so I thought it'd be perfect for this piece.
Funny story, just as I finished painting this, GW went and released the new version lol
30 years difference 💥
The first ever miniature I painted when I was 13 yrs old.
A 2nd edition Blood Angel Space Marine. And my most recent crack at a 10th edition Blood Angel Primaris Space Marine painted in 2024.
The difference in sculpts of the models have come a long long way since the age of 2nd edition 40k !
A Night Goblin Shaman I painted up recently. This mini is probably older than some of yous seeing this post 😂
I purchased this delightful little guy way back around 94' - 95' or thereabouts, for about £4 😂 How times have changed.
Lead mini, of course. I had to strip him first as my paint job from back then wasn't the best and he deserves to be updated 🤪
