Spotify 20/ Party of the year on a infinite loading loop?

I saw that some people already got theirs posted on instagram yesterday(May 12), and i went to see what it was all about, it was on the main page.

I clicked it this morning(may 13) and kept trying to get in but the same loading loop with the golden wax seal appeared.

Now it's 8pm and even after updating to the latest version it doesn't budge. Same loading screen and the worst thing is that it's mobile only so i'm cooked either way. Should i make a support ticket or something?

Trying to install distros in a 2005 toshiba laptop

Ive recently adquired a old laptop that was in pristine condition, it is a Toshiba Satellite A135 S2356. It has a Celeron M processor, a ATI radeon Xpress 200M as a IGPU and 2gb of ram.

As some of you may know toshiba was bought by another company called Dynabook and with that they trashed the whole support site of theirs, the drivers went down with it; Since my first idea was to install Windows XP in that machine, that didn't work because there were no drivers in the support site, so no reliable way to get the proper drivers etcetc.

Anyways in the past week or so ive tried to install linux on that laptop, i've tried Debian 13 DVD iso, a live cd debian 13 iso and most recently a Puppylinux iso.

The first one went well it is the one that's currently on the 320gb hdd BUT i didn't know that it would install a headless version of debian, so no graphical interface at all. I've tried installing Desktop Enviroments through terminal but no matter which command i put in there it wont boot to the graphical login screen.

The debian live cd won't go past the install selection screen, i click graphical install or straight up install, it goes into a black screen or a blinking cursor indefinitely.

As for puppylinux, it goes into the install menu but after i click install, same thing as the debian live plus the edd probing ok statement above the blinking cursor.

Any ideas on how to make this work, should i try another distro or try to fix the one that works( headless debian 13)?

I saw some of these in my workplace and i'm thinking ahead, for a little project of mine.

At first, since i don't know any better, i'm thinking of just connecting a couple(8+) computers and calling it a day, im planning on playing games via LAN.

But i would like to know if there are more uses for this contraption other than linking computers, not that i would use them for such purposes but it's still good to know.

I'll try to be as descriptive as possible of my feelings regarding this topic because it's something that i hold very close to my heart.

I'm 21 years old and since i was a little boy i've always firmly believed in the paranormal, be it monsters, extraterrestrials, ghosts, the undead, creepy things in general etc etc. I saw it all the time, be it on movies, youtube, the internet, even tall tales.

I was particulary interested in creepypastas, which were pretty popular in the 2000s and 2010s, i loved to watch creepy stories on youtube, slender man, Jeff the killer, hell even cartoon creepypastas. Of course, at the time i didnt know but many of those stories were manufactured ones, not real paranormal creatures. I've always searched the internet for more content to add to the fire. I feared those beings, as stupid as it may sound. The more i searched for stories, documentaries, information on those creatures the more i got scared and that cycle went on for quite some time.

Then came the sighting videos, the conspiracy theories, profecies, secret cults, the illuminatti and eventually all of that was part of my personality for like some good years from like age 12 to 16 maybe. As time went on more and more creepy videos from the Old Internet re surfaced once again and new ones were being made think something like Cicada 3301, 11-X-1371, The guy eating soup with two blocky dudes by his side, russian sleep experiment picture, "I am god".

Now i reminisce about those times and how dumb it was to believe, not that i lost all hope in seeing a cryptid or alien first hand but it seems so distant that i don't think it'll ever happen. I do still feel scared as hell from time to time due to the new wave of "Analog Horror", ARGs and some concepts such as the Backrooms, SCP although i've never looked into it that much.

When i discovered that slender man didn't actually exist it felt like the world had crumbled before me, like discovering that santa isn't real type of shit, There are some other instances of it happening with other stories later in my teens but nothing as big as Tall men in a suit.

Also what are your feelings on famous misteries being debunked by facts and logic as you grow older?

I know that i could search for the drivers in other means but i like to get things from the source and do things the way they're suposed to be done.

Anyway, i have this pristine Toshiba Satellite A135-S2356, it's a weak machine but it's pretty cool looking. I'll use it to store stuff and even play some games locally with Windows XP.

So i got into the dynabook's support site, put the serial number or model name into the search thing, it brought me to the laptop page but when i go to choose the Operating System to see the actual drivers, there's no option at all, just the "choose an operating system" option which isn't actually a option.

Do i like contact toshiba about this or is this a me problem? browser or some extension that i'm using. I tried using the serial/part number but it won't budge.

So that's about it for my story, i've never actually seen something that could be considered unexplainable but i would like to think that it will get me when i least expect it. I tried inducing sleep paralysis once, sadly it wasn't that long ago, i'm a little ashamed tbh.

I started seeing more and more videos on youtube and hearing about them in general recently, mostly about the older models. Used by linux enthusiasts apparently. Is there any reason for the hype? What separates them from other older brands of laptops, such as toshiba Sattelites, Dell inspirons, HP models etc etc.

I'm just a foreigner trying to gather some info on the US military for a fictional story that i'm planning on writing. i will try to be as realistic as possible given the kind of setting that i'll write about(zombie apocalipse scenario taking place in the mainland 2008 but having some sections of it dating back to the end of the Vietnam Conflict) but the problem is that i don't actually know that much about the operation of it all besides basic war movies.

I already got some help from a zombie survival subreddit, but since it'll follow a military battalion/brigade i would like to try and put a lot of effort in learning this, thus diminishing any major flaws in my worldbuilding and storytelling.

As for the specific subjects i'm interested in, Logistics, Joint Task Forces(i'm still unsure of what branches/SOFs to use), Ranks and how they interact with each other and the personnel necessary to keep the ones who actually do combat alive. There's also the matter of keeping things period correct(weapon systems, vehicles, gear in general) but i think i'll figure that out on my own.

I searched for a subreddit to post this in, someone sent me here, idk if it's the right one, i wanted to talk with real life veterans who know how the us military works from the inside and who have seen real combat of course.

It's 2008, you're stationed at a underground facility in Texas since 2004(built inside a mesa, dont ask me how), top secret stuff, no one knows what theyre supposed to be doing there.

There's aproximately 299 special forces(only) operatives from the various SF branches of the US military there with you, and i mean all of them, anything you can think of. There's plenty of gear, weapons(for any kind of role, period correct of course), ammunition(finite amount but let's say 10 years of direct all out war) and ground vehicles inside the bunker(it houses 2500 people at max capacity, so im ignoring the people needed to have it working at full effectiveness, but they're there) no tanks, no air support but everything else you might think of.

From 2008, the three first months are going as expected, nothing out of the ordinary outside. But on April 2008 let's say 15th; You guys lose total contact with the outside world, no communications with the top brass, families or the outside in general.

The bunker has a lot of surveilance systems that are spread around the main land, so not all hope is lost BUT a disease breaks out; it's hell on earth, people start killing themselves in classic zombie outbreak fashion, but there's a twist, they still maintain some kind of knowledge from their past life, they can drive vehicles and planes, operate machinery and most importantly, shoot back with anything they got their hands on.

Intelligence spends 5 months inside gathering info on the threats, and debriefing yall in the process, keep in mind that during the whole time frame no one was allowed to step foot outside.

They know that, the threats act similarly to people under HEAVY substance abuse, they maintain some semblance of control since they can drive and shoot 'acuratelly' but they have no self preservation whatsoever, they will go charging at you at full speed no matter the situation and they won't stop if they're bleeding out, hit, dissembowled etc. ALSO very important, once they're in fist fight range you are automatically turned into one of them, so direct contact in any way is a no go. There are cases of more 'intelligent' infected that can do planning, leading other less intelligent ones if that means getting to their end goal(you) but that's very few and far between, not zero though.

Let's say that the current goal of the facility was to take back Texas, for now; gather survivors and bring them back to whatever secure spot you guys have built on the outside, training them on whatever tactics you deem necessary thus getting more troops(since they've survived the initial five months, technically they aren't exactly useless).

The rest i'll leave up to you guys, do point out any flaws in my story, if you can enlighten me with knowledge on how the military actually works, because tbh i don't know anything really.

I want to ask veterans of the middle east a hypothetical question but the majority of subreddits deal with serious subjects and things related to the military itself, not the kind of question i will be asking them, its mostly a joke question but i would apreciate answers based on experience.
