Just got her from Walmart last night, I think it might be a cebu blue?

This is the sixth time my bf has tried to transplant a juniper, I think it’s dead, he says it’s still alive, they go “brassy” (I think that was the word he used) when they die.

Can this tree be saved? How? If it’s savable I want to make it thrive

I got her from Walmart, I love her so much, I want to make sure that I do what she likes. It’s an led light and that’s about all I know other than I bought it off Amazon
