3/21/2026: Olive is vocal towards other dogs when they pass by her kennel. When she sees a person on the row, she leans against the kennel gate on her hind legs and start to hop around the gate as well.

3/23/2026: Olive is a energetic and lovable puppy who likes to be vocal in order to receive attention from anyone in the row that she hears. She loves treats and plays with her toys often when she is bored in her kennel.

4/17/2026: Wiggly body, with a fast wagging tail. I put a harness on him and tether him to the wall as i clean his kennel, and he will stay still.

4/18/2026: Mr. Olive is a puppy with a wiggly body and fast wagging tail, will come up to the door when you walk by.

4/20/2026: Olive is a very wiggly pup, begins to get vocal but once I toss treats to get her to stop and she eats them. Wiggly with a fast wagging tail.

4/25/2026: Olive has a wiggly body all throughout the day, vocalizing and jumping on the kennel door. he is very jumpy towards me.

4/26/2026: When approaching kennel I observed that she painted her kennel overnight and greeted me by jumping on kennel door while high pitch vocalizing.

5/1/2026: Olive keeps painting her kennel over night and through out the day. Very wiggly body, soft facial expression and wagging tail.

5/4/2026: When passing by Olive was laying on his bed, once I approached he ran up to the door and jumped. I redirect with treats. Olive presented loose body, wagging tail and neutral ears.

4/23/2026: Dog was placed into the temp kennel while his kennel was being cleaned. Dog was in the temp kennel vocalizing the whole time, was even given treats but ignored and continued to vocalize.

4/26/2026: Brought over as a move adopt and puppy was non stop vocalizing throughout the morning and jumping on kennel door.

4/27/2026: Very vocal in the kennel and he painted the walls and all the floor, so I carry him and placed him in the nursery kennel to clean his kennel completely.

4/29/2026: Iris came in with tense body, tucked tail, and worried face. Had to be muzzled to be worked up. When trying to walk her to her kennel she began thrashing and had to be pulled with a blanket to her kennel.

4/30/2026: When opening the kennel door, Iris was laying in the back of the kennel with her legs tucked under her. Once leashed she stuck her head in the back corner of the kennel. She showed no interest in treats nor baby talk. I had to muzzle and carry to new kennel.

☹️ Ruggy is scheduled to be euthanized at SEAACA shelter on Tuesday, 4/21, at 2 PM.

🐾Ruggy ID: 26-09364

Ruggy is about 74 lbs, around 1–2 years old

Notes: Ruggy has had a very hard time in the shelter, but everything changed when Rocky was placed in the kennel with him. With his buddy by his side, Ruggy finally began to relax. You could see the comfort, the trust—he felt safe.

Then Rocky was taken… and never came back 💔

Since losing him, Ruggy has been struggling again. He seems withdrawn, unsettled, like he’s searching for the friend who made him feel okay. It’s devastating to watch.

Despite everything, Ruggy has shown what a good boy he is:

• Dog tested with multiple dogs — did well

• Sweet, gentle, and easygoing

• Knows “sit”

• Allows handling and affection

He’s not giving up—he’s just trying to hold on.

Battling kennel stress along with minor medical issues that will need follow-up care. But none of that defines him. He deserves a chance to heal, to feel safe again, and to love.

🙏In honor of Rocky, we have to try for Ruggy.

📝 Shelter Notes:

Approaching kennel dog has a wagging tail but once I open the kennel she step back worried face. I placed the leash she walked out with a crouched body, tail tucked in, she followed me outside, outside she had the same body language.

During walks, Hazel was walked on a semi-loose leash, slight forward pulling. She presented with an open mouth smile, lax body, fast wagging tail, ears up, and soft eyes. She is very friendly and welcoming towards customers/ACT's in and out her run. Likes to go on walks, pet, attention, and treats.

Hazel was walked on a loose leash to and from the outside runs. She was very friendly towards other ACT's that passed her by sitting in front of them and gently jumping on them. Hazel is quiet throughout most of the day and keeps her kennel clean. She doesn't mind treats, attention, and pets.

While walking Hazel back from the outside runs due to her being a Move Adopt, she walked on a loose leash and neutral from the outside runs. Throughout the entire morning walks, she has been quiet and relaxing on her cot.

Wagging tail with the baby talk, easy leash her up, walks with me with relaxed body, she takes chicken from my hand. Wiggly body when I pet her. She presents soft facial expression and sweet eyes.

🚑 Medical Notes:

S/O: Pt is BAR, pt ears both have moist, brown discharge. The Rt ear is worse than the Lt.

A: Otitis externa

P: Cleaned both ears. Packed both with Claro in each ear. Recheck in 2 weeks if pt still shaking head, scratching at the ears, and producing waxy discharge.
