Thank you everyone

I want to say thank you to all the kind words on my post about Sascha a few weeks back, regarding her wheelchair training. Once we put her outside, she took off towards the river to scare some geese like the old days… my dad had to sprint to stop her from going into the water! She felt unstoppable. I’m here to also say that we had to make the sad decision to help her cross the rainbow bridge this coming Tuesday. It hurts us too much to see how sad and helpless she feels. She no longer leaves her bed or wants to run out the front door when we open it. It hurts so, so much to think about it. She’s got so much life in her and her body can’t match it. Thank you again for all the kind words and helpful advice, she truly is a one of a kind dog and always will be. She raised all our shihtzus since they were babies as well. She’s a gentle giant and is so loyal to our family, it’s our job to give her the send off she deserves. She will be surrounded by our family and our other dogs in her own home, in her own bed.. give your doggos some serious hugs and kisses for us.
