I was just educated on the War Powers Act so excuse my ignorance but he technically has another 30 days after the 60 days is up to keep going as long as he “certifies in writing to Congress” stating why he is continuing the war. So if the war started on the 28th of February, he would technically have until May 29th no?
Well first off Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers out there, you guys are the most strongest people ever and deserve to be appreciated everyday. Today’s just a regular day for the ones with no mother/parent, it’s a little hard. Everyone’s posting their moms and they all look so beautiful, I usually don’t care about the fact I have no mom but today always makes me think twice about it. To the ones having a hard time, just know you are enough and deserve love, be kind to yourself and do something today for yourself that you would enjoy 🫶🏼
Is there anywhere or anyone to call when I just need someone to talk to. Life has gotten so hard and I dont have any family to call, I dont really have no one. I dont want to bother anyone, like old friends or people I dont talk to often. Times get so tough sometimes and I just cant stop crying. I dont want to waste resources bc I wouldnt call it a crisis so I dont know if any of those hotlines are for people who just need to talk but I feel like Im going crazy with no one to talk to. I dont have any money for therapy or counseling at the moment or anything really. So anything free is about all I can do for the time being.

I just went and got stitches due to an old ear rip that ripped back open. I’m prone to keloids so I’m trying really hard to do everything right. They sent me home and told me NO disinfectants/antiseptics. Now my question is, I use dove antibacterial body wash as my daily body wash, I looked it up and it says it technically qualifies as an antiseptic, should I switch out my body wash while it heals or am I okay with my regular body wash.
If it spreads and these people keep taking economy flights, what happens when their bag comes into the pit and we touch it?

I’ve been thinking of trying for a union apprenticeship. Idk why but the elevator trade has always intrigued me. Every time I try to learn about another trade, I go right back to elevators. Recently I had became open to thinking about an electrician and then thought, well the elevator mechanics do electric work anyway. I know iuec is one of the hardest to get into & also only 1% of women are apart of the union? So it does make me nervous somewhat lol. But Id like to hear from all the bad ass women who are in the industry, what was it like going into it?
Excuse me and apologies if this has already been discussed. But do we know if she was technically put it as a runaway/missing at the time or before her body was found? I don’t think I saw anything that claimed she was. I cant help but question the parents and how if they hadn’t seen her for four months, how was she not considered as a runaway or missing even? What did they tell the school, if they even did, for that last month/month & a half of school? Or when she didn’t show up for the first week of school? They said nothing? Why didn’t they put her as a runaway? I saw that riverside county starts school at the beginning of August, so that means she missed almost a whole month of school.
And please don’t start saying how he was using her phone & acting as her for those 4 months, we don’t know if he was acting as her to other people or even for THAT long if so. Lets just say he wasn’t, that would mean they hadn’t heard or SEEN her for four months. That should’ve been enough for any parent to at the VERY VERY VERY least, worry and do something about it. Or even just a runaway to be put in the system. She was 14 for gods sake, not 16, not 17, not even in highschool. Regardless theres no excuse. I don’t want to hear the troubled child excuse for the parents, they didn’t do nearly as much as a parent should have. Period.
