something about this case that’s really getting to me has to do with the phrase “a dead victim is the perfect victim” (sorry if too macabre or worded wrong). if celeste was alive and was able to actually successfully expose david, people would belittle her or call her a liar or whatever else the internet does to abuse victims of celebrities. yes there would still be a good portion of the internet that would believe her and support her, but as we’ve seen with previous celebrities such as kanye, r kelly, et cetera people don’t care and continue to uplift these problematic men. his career wouldn’t have been over like it is now and i hate that it took him taking away someone’s life for that to happen

Steve didn’t speculate on *who* may have received these *hypothetical* payments. But it was enough for the rumor mill.
You all need to let it go with harassing those who even remotely breathed around d4vd or Celeste. I’ve seen so many posts with people attempting to paint others as horrible people because they were friends with him, it’s like they were supposed to know the future.
Most notable examples of this: jasontheween, Bryant Barnes, and dare I say Aysia? Even the victims family can’t be spared. I’ve kept up with this subreddit since the incident first started, I never made any posts until later on or officially joined until like a month ago but I would see people consistently bash anybody and try make all these crazy conspiracies about others. The Chase Keith one was probably the craziest one I seen yet. People are asking why none of d4vd’s former friends have been arrested or investigated like there’s some kind of conspiracy, I think you all need to realize that the LAPD and DA have probably already interviewed and gotten them to testify which is why most of them have gone on with their lives or at least attempted to maintain some sort of normalcy. Maybe it doesn’t go deeper than the fact that d4vd deceived a lot of people.
TLDR: Trying to run smear campaigns and witch-hunts is immature and not true justice for the young girl who lost her life.

Its already bad yet somehow new information keeps coming in making the situation even more vile and disgusting. I don't think my opinion of D4vd as a human being could even theoretically get lower, he's broken the limits of awfulness I hardly realized were even possible, but at this point who even knows.

You know, seeing this case as have seen David before is crazy. Seeing this all crumble and finding out more is so heartbreaking, I truly just cry for Celeste. I am so sorry you went through that you were so beautiful. David was a different person all the time, he chose a mood and stuck to it. Right now, he looks like he’s rotting and that is the best sight to see. I hope you rest well Celeste and we will get justice for everyone involved with this horrible man🩷the truth will come out and that is what matters. The way he was relaxing while in the back of his head he did this, absolutely disgusting. I think about this every day and it makes me so sad to think about how this has happened. Celeste deserves every ounce of love because she was just a young girl who wanted love just like me, just heartbreaking.
