3rd trimester pregnancy - extremely high HR all day

Just left a voicemail to my cardiologist but I’m extremely worried.
I’ve been diagnosed with POTS for 5 years now and it’s gotten so much worse during pregnancy.

I’m currently 28 weeks and my HR when I’m up and moving is 130-140s all day when I’m up. I have to take the stairs occasionally and my HR goes up to 180s. I’m also an ER nurse so my HR is just high all day.

I drink plenty of water, one LMNT salt packet a day and wear compression stockings.

I can’t tolerate propranolol cause it makes me way too fatigued even on 5mg so I messaged her about that too.

I’m just so uncomfortable and worried. I’m so worried about the strain on my heart.

I’ll be stuck forever so it seems. Existential ocd.

Existence feels so meaningless!

4 years ago I fell into existential ocd and I haven’t been able to get out since.
It’s getting worse.
I can’t even be a nurse anymore. I had to quit my RN job.

The thing is my thought is logical, what’s the point of life if we die anyway?? What’s the point in anything?
I have no desire to create, do hobbies, participate in life.
I feel like I’m gonna be stuck like this forever.
I don’t even get anxiety really anymore, just depression.

Maybe this isn’t even existential ocd anymore. I’ll be stuck in nihilism forever. Life makes no sense.

Existential ocd won’t go away. This is my thought process I guess.

My ferritin was at a 7 last week but this is my CBC. I’ve been really tired and just feeling blah.
My obgyn said this was pretty normal but I really don’t feel good. My hematocrit in January was 39% and my hemoglobin was 12.9 so it’s clearly dropping.

Is this seem concerning?

I’m currently pregnant and do pregnant fetish stuff right now. Is it just me or is this really low?? $75 for one hour? I usually charge $3-$4/min for customs but he’s literally offering just over a $1/min. But it seems like he’s gotten a good amount of girls willing to do this!
Advice?

We’ve received our second noise complaint today (we’ve only been here for two months). Apartment complex said if we get too many noise complaints we could potentially get evicted.

I’ve about had it with my downstairs neighbors. It’s a family of 5. We live above them in a 4 story apartment, my husband and I and our two dogs.

My husband works 10 hours a day, 5 days a week and I’m an ER nurse and work two shifts a week.
We are both in bed by 9:30pm at the absolute latest. I’m pregnant and get tired easily and husband needs to be up by 4:30am. We are not partiers, do not drink, do not have people over, etc.

Our dogs like to play sometimes during the day in the living room but generally they sleep a lot of the day.

There is HORRIBLE insulation in these apartments. My husband is 250lbs and 6’4 so he’s definitely not super quiet on his feet.

My downstairs neighbors have made our life genuine hell and we’ve only been here 2 months. After their first complaint on us, my husband and I tried so hard to be more mindful than we already were. Shortly after the complaint my husband was walking to the kitchen and they took what seemed like a broom and banged on their ceiling multiple times. They are hostile. I’m so nervous we’re gonna get evicted. Thoughts?

I’m an ED nurse and I work part time 12 hour shifts (2 shifts twice a week)
I noticed that my HR all day is above 110. Usually between 110-130. As an ED nurse I’m on my feet pretty much all day.

I have POTS + I’m 26 weeks pregnant so my HR is naturally gonna be high when I’m standing.
I noticed I’m getting sporadic adrenaline dumps at work and my HR will shoot up too.

I’m just worried that I’m straining my heart with it being so elevated pretty much all day at work.

When I’m home resting it’s usually 80s.

Any advice?

My golden just turned one and I swear out of nowhere just developed a small pink bump on her nose. It’s been there for about a week or two. I’m debating whether I should take her to vet as I’m concerned. Anyone know what this could be?

u/Adrianagurl — 17 days ago

It really does to me. Like what’s the point of all of this?

Doing hobbies, making art, it’s not fun when your brain shouts “what’s the point if we just die”… you and everyone you love will be dead and completely forgotten.

I can’t do anything without questioning what I’m doing
