Super hot day today so made sure they had cold water and fruit with their meals!

We have been working to try and get close to our lil bro outside, we have several squirrels that we feed daily but this one loves when we go outside and feed him. Although he doesn’t come right up to us, my wife has been working on getting him close to us and build that trust. We love him so much, he is the cutest thing ever!

Lefty likes to ALWAYS use his right paw to try and swipe the nut from my hand . He now refuses anything except almonds. Here he waits for said almonds . 🐿️🐿️🐿️🐿️🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

hey i posted a while ago about a squirrel i helped out ivehad him for just over 2 weeks and hes still living, put on some weight and is alot more comfortable around my room and garden. switched his diet ti more vegetables than fruit and have rat blocks on the way,

Questions to what you all feed your squirrels? This is Dotty and I feed him various nuts but he’s been into carrots and broccoli recently. He gets bullied when I put the feeder out so I hand feed him through the window in the morning.
