For such a little guy, there's a lot of love and joy between us.

Feeling seems to be mutual when we see each other.

Was another squirrel giving an alarm in the distance. My girl ran to me for some food then quickly sat up in the tree looking nervous. I stayed to watch over her and be there when she needed a refill. Also looked so cute when she climbed down a bit, reached her paws out to me and stuck her tongue out. 🥰

I love how expressive he is. His looks always seem like there is so much going on inside that I wish he could say to me.

He did. But I won't tell the other squirrels. 😉

Can come around any time he likes.

Always a delight to visit.

Okay, my mother comes first. But she's my favorite non-human mom. 😁

Love watching them be curious and slowly start to trust me.

Came home yesterday to a big shock. The community decided they wanted to cut down trees and that included Frantic's home. They cut down the two next to it today and are working on the last one in that area. Feel sad as several of my friends loved those trees.

And yet, I found him still smiling and happy to see me. Hope he can find another tree nearby that will keep him safe.

Came to me for the food and jumped right onto the bench to enjoy them. She seems to like sitting on them as its the same place she jumped on my lap for the first time.

Seems awfully excited about it. 😄

She has my vote. ☺️
