I made this pattern (#23234) for a friend a while back and someone outside my circle requested to purchase one. I only make alpha bracelets on occasion for close friends because I think they take WAY too long for what I would be getting. I don't wanna sell myself short by pricing a 10hr job for like 15 bucks but it's completely unreasonable to overcharge for a singular string bracelet even if it is handmade. And obviously the more complex, the more time consuming...
I got this bracelet years ago and kinda gave up on it because I ended up just doing all sorts of weird things to tighten it, how in the world do you properly tighten this on your wrist? I cant figure it out even with youtube and ai
Didn't love making the pattern (which is why I've been putting off finishing this one for ages) but I really like how it turned out!
It was made with variegated yarns, that's why some colors change drastically.
It feels very weird to have a random couple threads of green in the middle? I’ve never tried a pattern like this where you just skip knots like this.
I went out last night and I lost this black bracelet at the bar (I left it in the bathroom and when I went back it was gone) I've had it since freshman year of highschool. I got this with my best friend when we went to California together and I'm absolutely devastated. I want to try to remake it but I'm very new to macrame and friendship bracelets so I'm not sure what kind of pattern this is or if there are any tutorials I can follow to recreate it.
Any help is appreciated.
Please and thank you.
Not all floss is the same. So I've created this little sampler where they're all joined at the loop to show the different flosses from different companies. It may not matter with a bracelet but when you start making bigger projects knowing how thick the string is definitely makes a difference. You'll notice there are single stranded and double stranded bracelets because that too makes a difference.
hi! first timer here. i’m trying to make a chevron bracelet, but it looks weird… please help!
Made these wall hangings for birthday presents, my coworkers have their anniversary birthdays in May, well one's birthday is actually today 30th of April, but since we're on a break until the 4th of May, she'll get her gift then and so I made them these.
Hi! I'm trying to do this pattern but I don't know how to add this string and continue. I don't know how to search it either :(

See you guys in like 20 years lol (BB207872)
Made a bracelet for my bestie's birthday, took me a month to get all the crystals and stones and design the final style! Love it so much
How can I recreate this kind of closure. (Using Amazon listing as a reference. I don’t know what this closure is called) I don’t want to knot my bracelets on, and love the idea of being able to slide it open/closed with this type of mechanism. But I wouldn’t know where to start. Current WIP that I’m trying to do this on including pics. (Will find pattern number in a bit)
I've seen some recent posts about splitting embroidery thread into smaller sections, along with queries about broken bracelets and thicker threads.
Here is a real life demonstration of the results using 2/4/6/8/12 strands of DMC embroidery thread with 2 rounds of a standard chevron.
Pic. 2 shows the thickness of each example. I would highly recommend doubling your threads (12 strand) for anyone looking to make pet collars, belts, hat bands, etc. The heft of the created material is quite amazing, similar to a webbed belt.
I quite like the look of 4 strands myself vs. the standard 6 strands. One unexpected find is the 12 strands is...fun!! Quite enjoyable!! My next project I'm going to use 12 strands on something 24-26 strings.
Happy knotting
Not my best work 😬 my black thread was thinner than the others (using old, different brands) and my tension was a bit off too. Still think it's quite pretty though.
