Bangalore Founders & Aspiring Founders – Looking to Connect With Like-Minded People?

Hey Bangalore-based founders and aspiring founders,

Are you looking to connect with other founders, creators, and working professionals?

After hectic work schedules, many of us don’t get enough time to relax or enjoy. And even when we do, it’s hard to find people who understand our mindset and match our frequency to talk, brainstorm, and have fun.

So we started a community where founders and like-minded people can connect.

It’s not only about startups. We also do:

  • Founder meetups
  • Brainstorming sessions
  • Football and cricket
  • Movie plans
  • Casual meetups

The idea is to build a complete ecosystem where you can meet interesting people, share ideas, and avoid the boredom and loneliness that often comes with building something.

If you’re someone looking for this kind of community in Bangalore, feel free to join us.

Trying to save a student from coding on a phone — Need a decent laptop under ₹10k 💀

Hey guys,

I’m looking to buy a used laptop in Bangalore for a student staying in my PG. I’m paying for it myself to help him out, so my budget is around ₹10k or less.

Need something in good working condition for basic student use like classes, browsing, assignments, etc. No major issues please.

If anyone is selling an old laptop or upgrading and willing to let one go for a reasonable price, please DM me with specs and price. I can personally pick it up anywhere in Bangalore.

Thanks 🙏

I work at a company building Air-taxis in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India. Most people have no idea we exist.

6 years ago I joined a 5 person team trying to build an UAVs and aircraft from scratch in India. (Guntur, Andhra Pradesh)

No funding hype. No press. Just engineers in a facility figuring things out.

People in our own city thought we were crazy.
Today we are 60 people. One roof.

I personally deal with managing the team.

We make Air-taxis. Heavy Cargo UAVs. Survey UAVs. Air-taxis. (Almost 10+ flying products)

We make 95% ourselves. Motors, frames, test crashes, we fix it, we iterate, we fly again.

Some days you want to quit.
Then the aircraft actually lifts off the ground.
And you forget everything.

That feeling hits different when you know YOU built it.

Research, manufacturing, design, tooling, composite production, electronics, assembly, testing, all of it in house. In India.

If you’re into research, avionics, propulsion, composites, embedded systems or aerospace structures, stick around. You’ll like what’s coming.

Let me educate the Non Bengalis on something. It's called Jhal Mudi.

Jhal Mudi tastes the best when prepared fresh. The main ingredient in Jhal Mudi is fresh Kacchi Ghani Mustard oil and green chillies.

Don't be confused with the brands which are about to launch Jhal Mudi in plastic packets. That could be chakhna but not Jhal Mudi. Don't eat it or you would think that Jhal Mudi tastes like that.

Jhal Mudi is one of the tastiest snacks you can think of. If you are in Delhi then visit CR Park, Market No. 1. In the evening there is a man who stands near Kali Mandir and fish market.

Looking for Investors for Our startup, our mvp is ready and app is now live in playstore.

Hey everyone,

I’m a student, and for the past 3 months, my team and I have been fully focused on building our startup from the ground up.

We’ve finally launched our app on the Play Store, and after spending a lot of time understanding the market, we genuinely believe this has huge potential.

We’re trying to solve real everyday problems in local buying, selling, and helping people relocate more affordably.

Right now, our biggest challenge is scaling. We have the product, the vision, and the drive — but as students, funding for marketing and growth is where we need support.

I’m looking for investment opportunity, or anyone who believes in early-stage startups and would be open to connecting.your

We’ve put everything into this, and we truly want to turn it into something impactful.

If this resonates with you, I’d be grateful to connect.

I've been helping out early stage founders for 5+ years now. Have spoken to 4326 founders and mentored more than 100 since oct 2025.

The best of them are tackling really hard problems of air, water, food etc. Stuff that affect the rest 90% of India. And these founders are gaining validation and capital from grants first.

Best part is you do not need an agency to help you out although there are a few decent ones with results. You just need a registered entity, DPIIT and startup india certificate. All of which are rather easy to do by yourself.

Anyways, long story short me and this other founder have built an open source platform and its already got 6 stars from randos on github. Hopefully it may help some of you here.

Just drop a comment here or DM for the link as i don't want to get banned from the sub.

If mods are okay, i'll add the link here.

Use 30k+ karma account to advertise your startup

I have a account with 30k+ karma and I can use it to organically advertise your business/startup for extremely cheap rates. Subs of your choice and you can choose whatever i say.

Depends on what exactly your organization is about.

I can either copy paste ads or include your work naturally in threads/posts

4+ YOE, laid off, and mentally exhausted from starting over again

4+ years of experience, got laid off, and now I’m stuck in this weird in-between phase of life.

Not a fresher. Not “settled” enough either.

Just constantly carrying responsibilities, family pressure, bills, expectations, and dreams that suddenly feel heavier than before.

People think layoffs are just about losing a job, but honestly, it messes with your head too. One day you’re working, planning your future, thinking about growth… and the next day you’re refreshing LinkedIn, fixing resumes for the 20th time, and questioning your entire career.

The hardest part is pretending to stay calm when everyone around you keeps asking, “Any updates?”

I know I’m skilled. I know I’ve worked hard. But this market makes even experienced people feel replaceable.

Just tired of surviving lately. I want stability again.

I’m building LienPay a concept where mutual fund investors can unlock a credit line against their existing funds and use it for UPI payments, without redeeming their investments.

Simple example:

You have ₹3L in mutual funds.

Instead of selling units during a cash crunch, you get an eligible credit line and use it through UPI.

The idea is:

your funds stay invested

you use only what you need

you repay later with easily emi conversion

no forced redemption for short-term liquidity

This is still a guided demo, not a live product.

I’m trying to understand if this is actually useful or if I’m overbuilding a problem that people don’t care enough about.

Would you use this or not ?

I don’t know him personally, but I just stumbled upon his LinkedIn. This senior is literally on another level.

Final year student and he’s already contributing to Librosa and LlamaIndex? Plus 900+ problems on LeetCode/GFG?

The scariest part is seeing the #OpenToWork banner on a profile like this. If someone with this kind of resume is still searching, we freshers are actually cooked.

Does anyone here know him? I wanted to send him a connection request to ask for some tips, but honestly, I’m scared he won’t even accept someone with my basic profile

Hey everyone,

I’m a 2025 MTech graduate in Software Engineering from a reputed college, and honestly, I’m in a pretty difficult phase right now.

Placements haven’t gone the way I expected, there’s a lot of pressure from home, and at this point I’m just trying to find a stable opportunity and get my career started somehow.

I know my degree is technical, but I’m open to non-tech roles as well if there’s growth, learning, and a decent work environment. Right now, I’m genuinely open to any role with decent pay where I can work hard and grow over time.

I do have internship experience in:

  • Academic Mentoring
  • Communication/client-facing work
  • Team coordination responsibilities in college events

If your company is hiring freshers, or if you know someone hiring, I’d really appreciate any referrals, suggestions, or guidance. Even advice on which non-tech fields have good long-term growth would help me a lot.

Thank you for reading.

The one and only Answer is they can say NOOOO.

Recently, I met three guys in Bangalore at events and cafes.

One guy works at Apple and recently moved to a startup.
The second guy works at Google.
The third guy works at another startup.

The main thing I noticed is that all of them earn at least ₹60 LPA or more.

This made me think what is the special thing that helps them anchor such a high value compared to me?

Because I’m also similar to them in terms of being a developer. I have my own tech stack, and I’ve built a SaaS product. I identified a problem, came up with an idea, validated it, built it, and even got my first paid user.

But interestingly, two of these guys have never built any SaaS product in their entire life.

Still, they earn much more than me.

When I spoke to them, all three said things like:
“We should work together sometime.”
“I’ve been thinking about building something like this for a long time.”

But my question is  what actually makes them hold such high value?

Finally, I realized a common factor among all of them.

It’s not just skill it’s money.

They have a huge financial runway. They hold stocks, have savings, and can sustain their lifestyle for years.

Because of this, they are bold.

They can take their time.
They can evaluate opportunities properly.
They can decide whether something is truly a great deal or not.
And most importantly, they can say no.

That’s the real difference.

So instead of thinking I’m behind, I’ve decided to focus on building that strength.

My plan now is simple:

I want to increase my boldness by improving my financial runway.

At least 6 months of savings  so I can make better decisions, not rushed ones.

Because I’ve realized something clearly:

Better decisions don’t just come from skill.
They come from having the freedom to choose.

Hey,

I’m Uday, a final-year engineering student based in Bangalore. I’ve been building products and working on real-world systems, and I’m currently looking to start something new.

I’m not interested in chasing random ideas or trends. I’m specifically looking for a real problem—something meaningful that actually creates impact, not just another product.

A bit about me:

  • Founder of AURIZE (gamified AI fitness app)
  • Scaled to 13K+ users within 1 month, ~6K MAU, ~$25 MRR
  • Built end-to-end (AI + backend + app)
  • 2 patents + published research papers

I’m more on the Technical side, and I enjoy building systems from scratch and iterating fast.

What I’m looking for:

  • Someone who is genuinely passionate about building something meaningful
  • Strong interest in startups and long-term commitment
  • Ideally with skills in distribution / product / domain insight
  • Not just ideas, but someone who wants to solve real problems

If things align, I’m also planning to apply to YC, so looking for someone who is serious about building at that level.

If this resonates, feel free to DM with what you’ve built or problems you’re thinking about.

Hi everyone. I’m an 18-year-old student turning 19 soon, and I’m trying to build a future for myself while also caring for several dogs that I ended up rescuing/adopting over time.

I come from a financially struggling family, and currently I’m not earning yet. I want to pursue law as my career, which means the next few years are going to be very difficult financially even for my own expenses. Despite that, I cannot ignore these dogs because in my area many people do not care about stray or abandoned animals, and leaving them helpless is something I personally cannot do.

I have tried arranging help locally many times, but constantly asking people for money or support often creates conflict and is emotionally exhausting. Because of this, I’m now looking for kind people who may be interested in “virtual adoption” or monthly sponsorship for my dogs.

Virtual adoption simply means helping sponsor a dog’s food, medicines, vaccinations, or basic care while they remain under my care. Even small consistent help can make a huge difference.

I will always be transparent about expenses and provide updates/photos whenever needed. My only goal is to make sure these dogs stay fed, safe, and cared for.

If anyone is interested in helping, sponsoring, sharing this post, or guiding me toward animal welfare groups/rescuers, please message me. Even one share can help reach the right person.

Thank you for reading and for caring about animals who cannot speak for themselves.

WE BANGALORE BASED STARTUP LOOKING FOR FIGHTERS TO CREATE A TEAM.

Every night, while the city sleeps, thousands of orders are being packed by hand — one product at a time, shelf by shelf, second by second.

I watched this happen. And I couldn't stop thinking —
*what if the shelf came to the customer, not the other way around?*

I'm building something in Bangalore that I can't fully talk about yet.

But here's a hint — it sits inside a dark store, it doesn't sleep, it doesn't get tired, and when an order hits... everything moves at once.

No pickers. No running. No latency.

The 10-minute delivery war is still being fought with human hands.
I think it's time hardware entered the battle.

If you're a Mechatronics / Embedded Systems / Robotics / Backend engineer / Software Engineers / Electronics Engineers / who likes solving problems that are *hiding in plain sight* —

Let's Be A Team 🤝 .

i have recently launched a proof of work job portal for software developers. not from marketing background so i don't know how to onboard businesses that are hiring devs.

Problem; ATS system have become redundant because of AI slop resumes.
Solution: My job platform evaluates job seekers on their Github activity, Leetcode performance and ATS for relevance. this makes it easy for recruiter to pick good candidates
from the sea of applications.

Now how can i market this to recruiters or businesses to post jobs on my platform ( already have a lot of job seekers on the platform)
