Does anyone out there remember the red serif font Wawa logo on the front of the store and on street signs? Remember when Wawas like these had no gas stations? Is anyone out there nostalgic for this era of Wawa?
For example the breakfast burrito going from 500 to 750 points? An extra $25 spent to earn one is insane
I’m a Mac n cheese connoisseur and Wawa’s is in my top 5 of all time. I’m sure so much of it goes unsold throughout the day. Does it get tossed after a certain point? Would I be able to buy it for cheaper at a certain time of day?
we recently got some new employees at our location after we had some people quit and get fired (long stories). one young man started about a week ago and he’s been harassing all the girls including me. calling us pretty even after we’ve said not interested or that we have a boyfriend, we catch him staring at our bodies up and down and he’ll literally lick his lips… the other day my coworker seen an ankle monitor on him so she got nosey to find out what happened. she immediately found his mugshot and his charges, s*xual harassment with a no contact order, and s*xual assault first degree with the victim being under 12 years old…. those charges are from January of this year. my coworker brought this to our GM attention as we do not feel safe around this man especially now, his response was basically mind our business that’s confidential… to which my coworker of course said it is NOT confidential he is on a s*x offender registry that is PUBLIC info for a reason. i go in on monday and idk what to do, i take this so seriously and im absolutely disgusted, my hands are shaking as i type this. we have minors that work at our store, i want to go in there and freak out but i dont want to lose my job..what do i do? can i somehow report this?
So I am still kind of new, I got hired in December and started in January. I got trained in OWS pretty early on and just today learned that you can’t cook the regular dogs and the quarter pound dogs together. I knew you couldn’t cook them with other snack items because of the potential of the juices getting on things… Still think that’s a little weird. But I can accept that. But why can’t we cook the hot dogs together? I asked my manager and she said she thinks it’s because they cook a different temperatures… But it’s all in the same oven? I do not understand.
It’s not a big deal at all whatsoever but I’m just curious if it’s common/what they do with it. Yesterday a lady asked if she could go before me and grabbed a cup and put just ice in it, then today I also went to Wawa and a different guy did the exact same. What do they do with the ice? Is it common to do that? Sorry if it’s a dumb question.
“Legendary customer service,” to restore the “heart” of Wawa? How about we fix the food quality? How about we have consistency in store management? How about we fix the issues that force associates into “rushed or robotic” interactions?
I want to clarify that I like my job and my co-workers but I CAN’T STAND corporate. Corporate doesn't want to listen to or fix issues; they want to place blame on associates.
Associates overall are not the issue; poor management and corporate decisions are!
Bummed and a lil embarrassed… I just got off and went to get my kids meal because it used to be 500 points. Guess corporate realized that was a steal because they restructured the rewards and now it’s 1,000 points (which I don’t have… whoops). I just feel bad holding up the line. 😂
Does the door dash beeping drive you crazy? Our off premise is in the core and we have to walk from the reg to the core to silence it. It could be only a drink that does not need a bag so the constant beep drives us and customers crazy. There should be a button on the reg to stop it til we can get to it. Or have a designated csa to handle off premise instead of cashier leaving to get it and coming back to a line
Hey guys I know they just did the taco thing and they just had the $6 regular meal deal that just ended .. But do you know when they'll be getting back the $6 breakfast deal?

Is it just me or is it a waste of breath to say any variation of “Hi” to a customer, just for them to not respond OR just say what they want. Hell even some times I’ll even give a great parting remark and I just get nothing, this happens at least 95% of the time where I’m at and it’s gotten quite infuriating

my mom usually comes in at the end of my shifts and we like to walk home together (small town, wawa is right around the corner) and i usually get her some coffee or a hoagie with my employee benefits to take home
so today i was getting ready for second shift and my manager said that they need to talk to me real quick so i was like sure what’s up?
and they said that “someone told me they saw you using keys for your mom…just don’t do that again or you might get fired okay?”
and in my head i was like “???” is it really that serious😭😭
god forbid i want to get my mother a little coffee and sandwich!! is it rlly the end of wawa if i want to do something nice for my mom??😭😭 idk it just left me rlly peeved for the rest of my shift
I’m working on a photography project of documenting former Wawa locations and what they’ve become, and I’m looking for help finding former locations online. Obviously there isn’t a master list online of former locations, but I noticed the ones near me that are gas stations have store numbers that start with 8. Are old store numbers usually retired? If I were to get a list of current store locations, could I just find what numbers are missing and search those up? Really just looking for a better method than aimlessly going up and down commercial corridors on Google Maps or searching “wawa closed” in news articles.
Alternatively, if anyone knows of any former locations off the top of their head in PA/NJ/DE/MD, feel free to shout them out in a comment below. I know of the ones near me in Lower Bucks County fairly well but any suggestions are appreciated.
