Craziest price change I've seen
Overnight stocking, came across this gem, shows in the gun as that price aswell, no price changes in the system to fix it. Will be interesting in the morning if a customer finds it 😀

I was recently hired at Walmart as an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate. Most of my coworkers are Indian, and they speak Hindi with each other. I was born and raised in Canada and speak English with everyone at work.
Recently, I was told I should speak Urdu after I mentioned to a coworker that my nationality is Canadian and my ethnicity is Pakistani. I’m not fluent in Urdu and don’t feel comfortable speaking it at work.
I think English should be the main language used at work so everyone can communicate clearly and no one is left out.
What do you think?
Need expert guidance regarding Walmart WFS reimbursement claims.
I’m currently working with Walmart WFS and sourcing products from retailers like Target, Costco, and Amazon. The issue is that many products in my shipment plans are showing as lost or not live for 45+ days.
When I open reimbursement cases with Walmart support, they ask for proof of purchase/invoices. I only have retailer receipts/slips.
My concern is:
- If I submit retailer receipts from stores like Target, Costco, or Amazon, can this cause account suspension or termination?
- If retailer slips are not acceptable, then how can reimbursement payments be claimed for lost inventory?
Would appreciate advice from experienced Walmart sellers or WFS experts who have dealt with similar situations.
Thank you.
Hey so im new to Walmart, before I begin I want to add im someone who tries to be happy always and give benefit of the doubt and always try to be positive but this csm/coach really rub me the wrong way how they spoke to me...
Anyways just going to try to keep it as simple as possible. I got this job recently *front end * and i def plan on changing departments once I am allowed to just to get away from this CSM/coach, guessing thats after probation.. anyways I wanted to hear your opinions or advice.. my csm/coach is 3 months in, with her position...she's clearly new and shes on cloud 9 (has a very bad ego and frankly treated me on the first meet like im nothing) let me explain for example.. I am commuting over 2 hrs to this location (planning on moving soon when I can afford to ) and I voiced my concerned that I didnt feel safe commuting at 11pm at night.. as the work is in a sketchy area and same where I live.. *I wouldn't be reaching home in till a Lil after 1:30am*
she then continued to disregard my safety concerns and basically spoke to me as if i had no choice but to do such closing shifts OR ELSE. she also then proceed to say "we goy 10000 applications and we choose you so we expect you to be flexible and have full availability" i also want to add i been trying to find a job for past 2 years so im Soooo greatful that i even was able to find this job *got referred by a friend who works there* (im part time (not by choice, I rather full time) and my availability since I got hired has always been know to be Earliest 9am- 10pm everyday even weekends, which to me seems pretty damn flexible) I simply was asking them to be okay with me going home at 10pm maximum instead of 11 due to my commute and that I dont feel safe AT all. She disregard our conversation I left their office feeling so upset and my mood ruin completely because how she spoke to me. This was my very first ever time i met her and im beyond upset over how she spoke to me and handled this conversation.. (there was other stuff and things she said that was very rude and ignorant) its not that i dont want to work, i actually love night shifts, just i simply am terrified to commute that late at night and i got ptsd from past experiences.. i guess simply want advice if this is usual behavior with csm/coaches? And if I could even report this to anyone about her without gettng myself involved?? Or should I just stick it out till after probatiion and hope i can change departments?
How long does this actually have to go unnoticed for? Lol. Yes, it's in claims, but... for real.... lol first in, first out people.... not that hard.
I am considering resigning after over 8 years at Walmart Canada as an ASM, the pay does not match the responsibilities, my mental health is suffering and my family life is suffering as well. Does Walmart Canada have a policy where you can't work for walmart if you resign? Also I've heard from former ASMs that when you give notice they can just tell you "your services are no longer needed" as I guess the ASM could potentially ruin morale? and you're done without 2 weeks. Has this happened to anyone else?
I'm going to brag here.
I feel like I struck gold. My managers, supervisors, coaches, leads, EVERYONE. They are all absolute saints. I was shocked joining this subreddit to find so many people having issues with colleagues and management. Most people have been here 10-20+ years.
They're patient, friendly, kind, and very understanding. They praise and reward hard work at every opportunity, and the only time I was given a talking to, was because I wasn't taking long enough breaks. I even got a break extension one day for severe cramps, by my male supervisor.
I've been given rides home because they don't want me taking the bus so late at night, I've been invited to shareholder events, had my hours extended because I'm a good worker- I'm just utterly flabbergasted.
I went into this thinking "Okay. Big box store job, I work cash, it'll be rough, management won't tolerate sub-par, just do well and go home." Nope. Before I even start. Orientation. I get "You’re all new to this. You're going to make mistakes. WE still make mistakes. Just do your best, and don't be afraid to ask for help, it's why we're here." And I thought it was sweet, but I was still anticipating how work life would be.
Training. So many people on here have talked about how they haven't gotten any training whatsoever. They were just thrown into their job role. That was not the case for us. I shadowed for a few days beforehand and my colleagues were amazing, showing me all sorts of tips and tricks to make things easier, showing me all the basics. There was always a CSM present to help with anything.
And because of their efficient training? I was training someone else myself on my fourth solo day of work- successfully (I was called in to do so). They did that the day after I asked how I was doing on my own because I had doubts that I was ready. They proved me wrong.
A CSM and I even figured out the cheque coupons together because he was newly promoted. All management I've met so far have started as associates there too. The cheesey quotes and posters everywhere about teamwork and respect are true to life at this store.
And no, I'm not a kid they're looking out for. I'm 30yrs old, and they hired me with a 10yr gap in employment. They see potential, and respect effort. I love my store, love my colleagues, and love my 20% off days saving me $100 a month on groceries. That alone made me almost break down because I'd struggled so long with cost of living.
It hurts to see so many people here struggling with the daily grind. I've had jobs like that, I do know what it's like. And I hope, at least, you're all able to find that work bestie that makes it worth it.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. If you guess my store correctly, I'll know you work there too. 😂
I'm curious if anyone here has been in a store where unionization became almost a reality. What strategies does Walmart use to dissuade it? If you were in leadership for said store, was it a massive headache? Was the market leader and others giving you hell?
Hi, I’m thinking of applying for a Dairy/Frozen Associate job at Walmart Canada. What is the job actually like day to day? Is it hard to learn where products go? Do you use handheld scanners or just shelf labels? Any tips for beginners?
Hey,
I’m confused why my application keeps getting rejected.
I have 2.5 years of previous Walmart experience, but I’m still getting rejected after applying online for Walmart jobs in Edmonton.
Does anyone know why this happens?
Could it be because of availability, resume, or the online system auto-rejecting applications?
Any advice would help. Thanks.
You really don't get any more 40 cent raises? Do they eventually raise the maximum?
They're in the middle of reorganization, said they'll stop selling dvds, blu rays, 4ks, cds, is this happening all over or just near me?
Good evening all, apologies for the rant in advance…
I was a former consumables associate among helping out periodically in other departments; GM, cash and customer service, freight and merchandising team, electronics and garden at two different locations in Canada. I was employed for just over a year and a half, before unfortunately having to quit after taking a medical leave due to some serious health conditions at the time. I did part on a good note with my manager, and she said she be more than happy to have me back on their freight team specifically at the time when I was able to get better and of course positions were still available.
Since then I have unfortunately moved away from these locations. I now live near 3 locations that are much larger stores than the previous two I was previously at. (One wasn’t even a superstore).
I have been applying to these 3 locations consistently for upwards of a year now to EVERY single position posted.
I’ve applied as a previous associate
I’ve applied without stating I was a previous associate and removed the job from my resume.
I’ve made two completely new workday accounts with different emails and applied again.
I’ve called the locations multiple times, asking to speak to manager regarding my application. I receive one of three scenarios:
- “the manager isn’t in right now”
- “sure I’ll transfer you” gets left on hold for half an hour with no response.
- “Wait for an email, go apply online” from an employee.
I have gone to these locations personally and given my resume to what seems to be department managers and have briefly explained my previous experience but it seems like nothing has ever gotten through, and I literally cannot get ahold of a manger to follow up. It even took a few back and froths getting past customer service to get to meet with a manager briefly. As soon as you say a thing regarding hiring they try to turn you away.
I have received emails in the last few days about tasks being assigned finally specifically for the “People Lead” position. I only found that out by calling the help line as when I go to click on the link for the task, it takes me to the current employee login which I don’t have an existing login for. The employee on the help line informed me I’d need to contact the hiring manager and was able to give me her name. Though I cannot get ahold of the manager, and anytime I have gone in to ask to speak to her directly if she has a moment, she’s “unavailable” or not in. This is the PEOPLE LEAD MANAGER.
I’m all for understanding managers are busy busy people, the job market sucks rn and this isn’t just a Walmart issue.
These locations majority of the time have tons of positions open, but I can never seem to get past the review and get no response for tasks.
I have completed the initial assessment that goes along with the applications as well.
What am I doing wrong? I’m ready to send a cover letter to corporate with my resume at this point…
I did enjoy the work that Walmart has to offer and I’m seriously wanting to return if I could have the chance to be considered by a human being!!!
I had my orientation two days ago and scheduled my online training at the store this coming Monday. I’m not sure if I could’ve possibly had a shift before then and I was wondering if there was a way for me to check my schedule? I’m kinda stressed out because I messaged manager two days ago and he hasn’t replied and the call went to voicemail. The store also didn’t pick up.
I had a group orientation on Friday, and at the end, we were told to arrive on Monday at 3pm-11pm to start and finish our ulearn. I just received an update on me@walmart stating I start on Thursday. Should I call people services tomorrow morning for clarification?
So when I got hired they wanted me to have open availability as they said that they would be scheduling for at least one closing and one opening shift.. and yes I had to give open availability even though I have some time restraints because I needed the money .( you’ll can go ahead and sham me for this but tough situations these days for me)
Fast forward two weeks later , they have scheduled me for a whole week (except for one day between) of closing shifts . Now this is quite near impossible for me to do cuz where I live , the last bus from Walmart is at 10:25pm after which the next bus is in the morning.. and I’m really really not comfortable taking the cab ..
I don’t mind doing closing shifts once a week since that will mean my husband picking me up at 11pm , but since I have a baby , she’s asleep at tha time and him coming in car will disturb her sleep . Now again , I don’t mind doing this for one day a week , but I’m really not comfortable doing this every day of the week ..
How do I deal with this now 😭😭
Please don’t judge me .. I know a lot of you have tougher situations.. I’m just new to this thing and I feel really bad for my daughter but I also know I need this job ..
