Need advice on which client to choose

I am working as a VA with a long term part time Canadian client, and since part time lang I applied for another part time client and was accepted by a US client.

Just as I had said yes to the other client (no contracts signed yet), my Canadian client called me offering me an opportunity for a colleague she worked with. She said this colleague was looking for a VA and that she recommended me for a rate that is higher than the US client is offering me.

Now I’m torn. The higher rate is, of course, enticing, but I feel added pressure because this is my existing client’s colleague, because I feel like if I f this up or if her colleague feels I’m not the best fit for her, their relationship (and ours) might be jeopardized.

On the other hand, the US client is offering me around 12-13kPHP less than the other is offering, but doesn’t have that risk of conflict of interest.

I really need insights on this as I am really torn!!
