hey anyone there who showed only 1year visa funds and got visa approved? Indian?
a friend of mine from India applied national Type D visa for observership in University Hospital of Padua (for 6 months), he was studying his medical undergrad in Lviv, Ukraine but had to leave because of the war, he has his credits (recognised by university of Padua) upto 7th semester.
The visa of rejected by Italian embassy , New Delhi on the basis that his intent to return to India of insufficient.
He has received the offer letter for the observership from Padua, as well as the accommodation, showed proper funds and tickets as well.
His dad operates a business in India, and has his immediate family living here.
Is there anything he should keep in kind before reapplying?
Is it even possible not to be accepted by Messina? It was supposed to be my Plan B. I have a high GPA, IELTS and 13 years of education. What could be the reason? I uploaded a PDF of my IELTS results, but I did not send them via the official IELTS website, and I have a three-year gap in my education.
I am an non eu student who graduated last year from Turkey with a final 12th-grade score of 93%. I have an IELTS score of 8.0 and an SAT score of 1550 (780 eng, 770 maths). I have completed several online courses related to medicine and engineering, and I have 140 hours of volunteer work.
My top choice engineering(especially fields related to chemistry, biology, or architecture), followed by sciences like applied mathematics, biology, chemistry, biotechnology, genomics.
I would really appreciate it if you could suggest any university that accepts my qualifications and would give me a scholarship.
Thank you in advance!
Hey everyone,
I really need some guidance regarding studying in Italy and would appreciate any help
I’m planning to apply for the September 2026 intake for a bachelor’s program (most likely in biology or a related field), but I’m feeling quite overwhelmed with the process and deadlines.
Here’s my situation:
- I have around 55–58% in my previous studies
- I have some work experience in healthcare/medical billing
- I’m trying to apply as soon as possible (April right now)
- I’m looking for universities that are still accepting applications
- programs taught in English
- I haven’t taken IELTS yet, so I’m also looking for options where it’s not strictly required (or alternatives are accepted)
I’m confused about a few things:
- Are there still universities open for applications right now?
- Do I need to go through a central portal, or apply directly to each university?
- Is a Declaration of Value or any document legalization required before applying, or only after admission?
- What are my realistic chances with my grades?
If anyone has gone through this process or is currently studying in Italy, I’d really appreciate your advice, suggestions, or even university recommendations
I’m honestly stressed about missing deadlines, so any help would mean a lot.
Thank you!
Hi! Does anyone know what are the attendance regulations in the following unis (bachelors program)?
University of Siena
Ca' Foscari University of Venice
University of Bologna
Thx
I just visited this school; I have a 1510 SAT score and a 92/100 GPA. What do you think of it? Is it worth the money? Is it as prestigious as Bologna, and do I have a chance of getting accepted?
I applied to IULM. Since I didn’t have an IELTS score during the application, I will take the university’s own English test tomorrow (it’s not the admission test). Has anyone taken IULM’s English test before? If so, could you share your experience?
Hey! I'm a recent graduate from Romania, currently applying for the master in Economics and Public Policy at the University of Bologna. I am uncertain about some aspects and would appreciate a lot some help.
I know that for enrolment I have to provide the original documents with an apostille placed on them. However, I dont have them now and was wondering if, for admission, it would be enough to upload an officially certified translation. They don't metion it clearly on the University webpage and I am lost.
From your previous experiences, what documents are required for the stage I'm in now?
Hi everyone,
I recently received an offer for the Bachelor's program in Industrial Engineering Technology (IET) at the University of Cassino (UNICAS), and I wanted to get honest opinions from students who are currently studying there or have experience with the university.

I would really appreciate honest feedback, especially from international students.

Hi everyone,
I applied to the Global Law and Transnational Legal Studies program at the University of Turin for 2026/27, and I had a couple of questions for those who have already applied or are currently studying there.
I meet the basic requirements, but I’m still unsure how selective the program actually is.
I’d really appreciate any insights or personal experiences. Thanks in advance!

hi everyone. i’m hoping to apply to “Communication Strategies” masters program in 2027 in Padova university. i’m not from US or EU so i don’t really know where to ask this. does anybody have any experience in this program? how is Padova University overall?
Ciao everyone!
To begin with, I'm a student enrolled in medical school in my home country Romania, currently in the 4th year. Recently I've taken an Erasmus exam, in hopes that I'll get the chance to study medicine for a year in Italy. Today I received the exam results and apparently I was assigned in Firenze, for a studying period of 9 months (which basically means the whole 5th year).
Now, the thing is that my university didn't choose an english-teaching programme, thus meaning that I have to take all of my courses in italian. And tbh, that's quite an issue. I really want to know if anyone foreign (non-italian student) attended the UNIFI italian-teaching programme through Erasmus outgoing mobilities and can tell me if the exams can be passed at all? Or do I need to speak italian fluently? Can I take some of my exams in english?
And also, what are the sources to study? Are there any specific books for each course (for example, Blumenfeld for neurology).
Thank you in advance! Any reply is much appreciated!
