Univerista degli Studi di Firenze
Ciao everyone!
To begin with, I'm a student enrolled in medical school in my home country Romania, currently in the 4th year. Recently I've taken an Erasmus exam, in hopes that I'll get the chance to study medicine for a year in Italy. Today I received the exam results and apparently I was assigned in Firenze, for a studying period of 9 months (which basically means the whole 5th year).
Now, the thing is that my university didn't choose an english-teaching programme, thus meaning that I have to take all of my courses in italian. And tbh, that's quite an issue. I really want to know if anyone foreign (non-italian student) attended the UNIFI italian-teaching programme through Erasmus outgoing mobilities and can tell me if the exams can be passed at all? Or do I need to speak italian fluently? Can I take some of my exams in english?
And also, what are the sources to study? Are there any specific books for each course (for example, Blumenfeld for neurology).
Thank you in advance! Any reply is much appreciated!
