Feeling lost with Italy university applications need advice

Hey everyone,

I really need some guidance regarding studying in Italy and would appreciate any help

I’m planning to apply for the September 2026 intake for a bachelor’s program (most likely in biology or a related field), but I’m feeling quite overwhelmed with the process and deadlines.

Here’s my situation:

- I have around 55–58% in my previous studies

- I have some work experience in healthcare/medical billing

- I’m trying to apply as soon as possible (April right now)

- I’m looking for universities that are still accepting applications

- programs taught in English

- I haven’t taken IELTS yet, so I’m also looking for options where it’s not strictly required (or alternatives are accepted)

I’m confused about a few things:

- Are there still universities open for applications right now?

- Do I need to go through a central portal, or apply directly to each university?

- Is a Declaration of Value or any document legalization required before applying, or only after admission?

- What are my realistic chances with my grades?

If anyone has gone through this process or is currently studying in Italy, I’d really appreciate your advice, suggestions, or even university recommendations

I’m honestly stressed about missing deadlines, so any help would mean a lot.

Thank you!
