So like, she really did nothing wrong

I was rooting for this crazy old bitty to vaporize that crystal menace and was kinda pissed that Data checked her assisted living ass in the last scene.

Why did the Ferengi get rid of the energy whips?

Also how would they feel compared to say a phaser on stun?

OK seriously, how did this jabroni earn TWO Christopher Pike Medals of Valor?

He seems like the type to go, "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few" and let the Jem'Hadar incinerate a helpless Oberth class ship full of toddlers playing with puppies rather than risk his own crew.

This is what a self-sealing stembolt actually is

A 'stem bolt' is most commonly the bolt that holds a bicycle stem on, which is the part that clamps onto the handlebars. A 'self sealing' bolt would have a nylon collar or gasket under the head of the bolt, presumably to hold in liquid or grease, or to help seal air or water from getting in. This is basically useless in terms of bicycle stems, but could theoretically help prevent water from getting into the stem and fork assembly.

I like to imagine that rom and jake were accidentally peddling (pedaling?) bicycle parts, and space cycling was a huge deal in that region.

Edit: come to think of it, do bicycles appear at any point in Star Trek at all? I seem to dimly remember that maybe Da Vinci has one in voyager?

Ben Sisko's raw seething hatrid of Picard.

So we all know the whole, Wolf 359, Locutus, Jennifer story was fuel for the fire. When Benny got angry at Mon Capitan, Picard seemed uncharacteristically shaken and angry.

Picard was 19 days off from his rescue from Five Lights at Maddy's, so here we have a recovering Picard from his weekend of torture, getting assigned to what is supposed to be a simple duty transfer, and old Benny boy can't resist the urge to bring up his baggage to an already traumatized Picard, who thought he was past being Locutus.

Guaranteed Picard went back to his quarters, sipped on a glass of Chateau and ugly cried for a good half hour after that interaction.

Zorn is the only Groppler I've ever heard about. What are the other Gropplers like? Is Zorn a typical Groppler?

After his deadly encounter with the Enterprise crew Armus fell into a deep identity crisis

Regaining his sanity he started to record the stories of his former visitors. He also gave himself a first name.

I don't use the word "hero" a lot, but he's most certainly the hero we have to thank for the tales of the Enterprise-D.

I don't get the hate for Star Trek V

I mean, so what if it's only 20 minutes long, and all it is is Kirk, Spock, and McCoy going camping?

It's still a good movie!

Why are my personal logs appearing in the historical documents?

Was just reviewing some old mission data and why is it leading with me logging about my bad date? How is that relevant to the mission to save Vagra II from an approaching comet?

Let’s be real, as much as we preach equality, the crew quarters in the drive section are basically third class accommodations.

You’re farthest from Ten Forward. The holodecks are smaller. Im not even certain the sickbay is fully staffed.

And if the ship separates for battle are you supposed to risk your life or find somebody to bunk with?

How fortunate are we that almost every alien species we have encountered construct their names similar to how cultures on Earth do? We don't even need to redesign our forms. That's a savings that goes right to the bottom line.

They have a given name, a surname, and sometimes a middle name.
