I don't get the hate for Star Trek V

I mean, so what if it's only 20 minutes long, and all it is is Kirk, Spock, and McCoy going camping?

It's still a good movie!

Table Talk over Discord

So I'm gearing up to run another campaign for some friends, but in-person games will be difficult, if not impossible to do, since we all live decently apart from each other.

Truth be told, the biggest downside for me in remote play is I miss the cross talk between players during sessions. My players are great, and they do what they can to roleplay amongst themselves, but it's not as easy over a Discord voice call as it is to just talk across the table because everyone's voices come out of the same speaker, people end up cutting each other off.

Is there anything I can do on my end, either with tech tools, or just game structure to enable them in this regard?

(Just to clarify, I have *talked* to my players. They're doing their best. The issue is not a social one. We've just hit a wall with the set-up, and I was hoping a smarter DM than me has come up with a clever workaround to this problem.)
