After his deadly encounter with the Enterprise crew Armus fell into a deep identity crisis
Regaining his sanity he started to record the stories of his former visitors. He also gave himself a first name.
I don't use the word "hero" a lot, but he's most certainly the hero we have to thank for the tales of the Enterprise-D.
