Super modded xxl Powerwheel
I retuned these for launch control. See how the boys car slowly goes then full power after a few seconds. Without this tune, it cars does wheelies. Fine tuning with FarDriver controller is the way to go.

Hi there -
My daughter has two of these that are having the same issue. We purchased one of those battery converters
I picked up a Zoinks 24v Halo Warthog yesterday and am looking for some parts if anyone has any available? I need the following:
- 1 hub cap
- Both left and ride side step rails
- Laser tag vest
- Laser tag plasma pistol
I found that KidsWheels in Texas has a website that claims to sell them but they have HORRIBLE Yelp reviews so curious if anyone has ordered from them before? I reached out to them but haven't heard back yet. I am located in the US also. If anyone has any spare parts, knows where to get some, or the ability to 3D print them for me please reach out! Thank you!
Looking at a few power wheels dune racers on facebook marketplace. I want something that my kiddo can enjoy for multiple years.
I have seen multiple setups of a 40 volt conversion on these, can this be done with an 80 volt battery and the appropriate converter? I already have a bunch of 80s on hand for my yard tools.
Just looking for something that when all said and done that will have plenty of power and go like 10 mph max when he is ready for that.
Upgrades that I am sure I'll need
Gearboxes (assuming the aftermarket premades will work)
Remote kill switch
Low voltage shut off
Variable speed pedal?
Brake mod (the one that goes under the pedal)
What am I missing?
Maybe some bells and whistles lighting etc... but not worried about that now.
I was just gifted this rollplay 12-volt chevrolet silverado ride on truck. The battery needs to be replaced. I was considering converting to use my Milwaukee batteries, as I always have a couple charges. Am I on the right track with these purchases? Anything you would recommend instead? Anything I need in addition to these to help with setup? (Like additional wire, tools, etc)
Looking to see y'all have a recommendation for a replacement tire that won't break the bank. The OG tire spins out a bit uphill and generally worn out. Would prefer something not plastic. The car is a pretty generic 12v model. It's already running off my Ryobi battery so I think a better tire would help. Also open to any other easy mods y'all recommend, I recently painted it and I think it still has some life left in it.
My daughter’s jeep about 3 years old suddenly loses power occasionally when turning causing it to jerk to a stop. It does not happen every time turning the wheel but fairly often. Happens in either direction and with both the remote control and when she’s driving it. This isn’t my speciality so any advice or help appreciated!
Need some help, I upgraded my sons power wheel in a 20v Rs550 40k rpm motors removed all the stock components aside from pedals and replaced it with a PWM. Added relays for the pedals for controlled current. But the DPDT f/r switch is heating up after a while. Any suggestions?
Hey guys
What’s your thoughts on this unit?
It’s on sale for $999 cdn, My boy is 1.5 yrs old. He loves his little quad.
I was thinking on getting him something so I don’t have to re buy again.
I’m honestly so torn on the ride ons, I’ve been looking for days now and there’s too many options lol.
Battery life says 90 mins, I’d assume less with the tires and etc. maybe upgrade to lithium later on.
Anyway thanks !
These fell off my son’s Mustang power wheels. Anyone have a guess as to where they go on the car?
15$ yard sale find. Intact battery and charger. Only one motor spins. Where can I buy a replacement motor? Thanks in advanced
Are there models of either of these brands that can hold about 220 lbs (my weight + toddler). I have an 8 month old and a 2.5 year old and am looking into getting my oldest a ride on.
Looking at these brands as they seem to be the most reliable with the downside of not having a remote control option. So my plan was to drive/ride with my toddler until he got the hang of it. Then next summer he and my youngest can use it together (so 2 seater).
I am pretty handy in DIY so I plan to mod it as they get older so, having something that can be modded would be a plus.
There is currently a 12V Peg Perego gator nearby on marketplace but it seems that capacity is loosely tied to voltage so I don't think that option will work.
Edit: or do these go slow enough that I can just coach from the side.
Somewhat humorous post, also just to give inspiration to anyone else struggling to find an adapter for their particular batteries
Decided I was tired of shoving wires into a battery and hoping for the best, and had been thinking for a long time about taking apart a battery charger and turning it into an adapter, so I finaly did it! Tools used were cordless/handheld cut-off tool (like a tiny circular saw, a drenel would also probebly work) screw driver, soldering iron, overconfidence.
Used the cut-off tool to turn the star head screws on the charging piece into flat head screws, and also to cut a new slot for the metal into the negative spot since the charge normally went into the upside down T slot) tried to soldering the wires into place... theyre not moving atleast even if its a mess xD accidently got some soldering in the drill hole on one side, hence its slight melting when I tried to get the solder out of it. I'm not good at soldering and my iron is cheap, anyways, superglue the cords in to help!
Now I can swap the batteries out if/when I need to and dont have to undo my hard work and waste duct tape everytime they need to charge :D
Looking for a two seater, something large enough for a seven year-old. And something that works well on grassy terrain! Eva rubber tires. Any suggestions?
Not a power wheel per se but I converted a metal pedal car from Jets to electric using some “power wheels” motors (actually a kit) off of Amazon. It’s being powered by a 12 volt li-ion battery and it’s for my now 2yr old niece.
My dad thinks it’s too fast. I bought some voltage reducers off of amazon and already blew one adjusting the voltage while free wheeling
Do this motors require 12 volts or will anything under like say 9 volts, hurt them? And if not, anybody know of a good voltage switch/reducer that won’t blow up on me 😂
Pics for attention
Hi there, caveats first: I'm a layman, I live in New Zealand so access to American facilities is impossible. I appreciate that I bought this junk and now have to live with it.
I bought this unit for my 2yo toddler for Xmas. Built it , she rode around in it once. Fast forward to now and I was trying to give her a ride in it. And now, even after having it plugged into the wall for over 12 hours or until the light first turns green on the ac adaptor (I tried both). It just will not hold charge. It appears to be fully charged. I turn it on, we drive around for 1 minute the "low battery connect etc" comes on straight away.
Attached are some pics, just wondering if anyone has any advice? Did I connect something wrong, is it just a pos, the battery looks hella small. Should I contact the place I bought it from? Any advice at all, even if it's throw it away 😞
Appreciate you all.

Hello,
I’ve been looking for a ride on for my son.
I was looking for a reliable ish vehicle to buy.
Don’t want plastic wheels,cushion seats
Will need a remote so I can control it.
I was looking into the Ryder vehicles and some Amazon ones. My son is 1.5 yr and I want to buy one so it will last and not have to buy another one.
Any suggestions?
I am from Canada.
Thanks !!
The specs are as follows: 24v RS555 motor paired with a high torque bearing reinforced gearbox, the light is a DOT approved 12/24v 3,100 lumen pod light. All of this is powered by a Milwaukee M18 High output lithium cell.
The wheels are mounted using a flanged bronze bushing with a 3D printed Bushing sleeve.
The hub adapter is also 3D printed.
So are the wheel spacers.
My last thought on potential upgrades is using a Milwaukee Top-Off so I can route the USB C charging capability externally. (Tapping into the - & + terminals)
Thoughts?
Edit: Iknowthedecals...suck shutupaboutit.
Happens with both the remote and local control's (my daughter isn't old enough to drive so I have to run beside it with my hand on the pedal)
I've replaced the battery with brand new.
Like I said it will drive fine for 10 Seconds, then abruptly stop. If I let off the joystick then go straight back on it goes again.
Anyone got any ideas?
Pretty keen to get it going properly, Daughter is obsessed with it!
Appreciate any help!
Edit: it's consistently pretty much exactly 10 seconds every time.
