Need some help trouble shooting

My daughter’s jeep about 3 years old suddenly loses power occasionally when turning causing it to jerk to a stop. It does not happen every time turning the wheel but fairly often. Happens in either direction and with both the remote control and when she’s driving it. This isn’t my speciality so any advice or help appreciated!

About 2 weeks ago I smashed my hand into the ground saving my daughter from falling and gave myself mallet finger in my right hand ring finger as a reward.

I have had it splinted for the last 2 weeks on doctor’s orders. However, once or twice when changing the split, the tip bent slightly. Everything I see online says bending it restarts the process but I assume that depends on how much bend and for how long.

So my question is, does a slight bend for a few seconds at most restart my 6 week window? What an annoying little injury. Thanks in advance!!!

Ps. Daughter is fine which is the most important part

Hey all, regular gym dad who with 2 little kids dosent have for the gym anymore. I wanna purchase a set for at home so It’ll be easier for me to workout. Does anyone have a starting set of different weights( I was thinking 18 up to 35 to start) and perhaps a quality brand that won’t break the bank. Any suggestions from the community would be welcome. Thanks in advance!
