So basically I got the iPhone Air and tried switching lines but they said I gotta contact someone to help me with it because it’s not compatible, it’s unlocked and everything and I’m pretty sure if I call it’s gonna charge me money
Well after being on the phone with a 611 Rep. they decided to turn my eSIM off 😁 how would you feel about this?
I’m an in store sales rep. Lots of people complain about us or don’t understand how things work on our end in store or why things are done how they are. So here’s a chance to ask why.
Yes, we sign NDAs. Standard practice for most phone companies actually.
Metro PCS is just getting worse and worse by the month. Their 5G speeds are ridiculously slow now. And they keep changing everything without announcements. So if you don't pay your bill right on time, now they shut your home internet off right away, which sucks if you have kids. People can't always pay that day. Why give a three day extension if you're just going to shut the shit off anyway? I've had Metro PCS since before T-Mobile owned them. T-Mobile has run Metro PCS into the ground. And again, T-Mobile's 5G speeds are not what they advertise. I was getting 15 megabit a second through their home internet for the last three months. Stay away from Metro.
Went into a Metro pcs after surgery and switched my account from boost. They didn't even offer me a free phone , in fact they made me pay 250 bucks for a phone advertised as free. When I called the Metro main customer service line they said I could take it back for refund. The lady in the store refused.
Then I called back for the 5th time ( oh this stupid bitch in the store wouldn't let me plug my phone in to charge it . Then a supervisor came on and said I could buy another phone and add a line! Wtf. It's been less than 39 days. I'm super pissed
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some help with an issue regarding the Amazon Prime benefit on my plan.
I recently signed up for the $65 plan and was initially assigned a temporary number. I registered for the free Amazon Prime benefit using that temp number, and it worked perfectly. However, once I ported my permanent number over, the Prime benefit was deactivated.
I’ve tried re-activating it, but I’m stuck in a loop. Customer care keeps resending me the activation link, but nothing happens when I click it. When I try the process on my computer, it asks me to enter my phone number to confirm my identity, but I never receive the verification text.
Has anyone dealt with this after a port? Any advice on how to get the system to recognize my new (ported) number for the Prime benefit?
I'm calling as soon as they are open, but switching to Metro 20 days ago has been absolutely horrible. I'm coming over from Mint because I needed a monthly plan bill in order to have cell phone protection from my credit card. I signed up from a direct link from their site which states a 35GB limit, however my plan locks me to 10GB.
Initially, the onboarding process took over 3 hours as I could never receive the code they were sending me. That was a major red flag, but I brushed it off as onboarding is a one time time process. The agent over the phone could not understand what I attempted to explain. I went to the nearest store and left without my problem being resolved. I ended up receiving the code out of nowhere on my drive home after giving up.
My current speed is 0.06 Mbps. I quite literally cannot play a 144p video without buffering. That's not reduced speed Metro. It's unusable.
EDIT: screw the store, calling the customer service line is miles better.
Oddly enough, the prices for phone upgrades for me are much cheaper in store than they are on the app, according to the chart the guy showed me. It was under the "always connected upgrade" column.
I've been waiting almost two months for them to get a certain $50 phone in stock (in store) because it's $200+ in the app, but have had no luck.
He said it's very weird that the my-metro app shows different prices for everything, the cheapest deals being $99 for only a couple that aren't what I want and full price for everything else.
Anyone had luck getting their app to show the same as what is available in store?
Do you think this chase offer applies to the monthly bill statement or only to new purchases?
Went to 4 different locations here in the city and they all said they didn’t receive a shipment
A lot of my friends and family have started complaining that my phone is sending them straight to voicemail without ringing. Sometimes i notice the network bars are low. This just recently started happening. How to fix it?
I just got metrobyt mobile the other day got the a17 5g. I have to hang on to it for a year on the 60 dollar plan to get a discounted upgrade so I'm gonna try.
I have recently had this issue where text messages don't appear after being sent to me and then they come all at once HOURS later. I'm locked in until next year as far as I know. Is there any way to fix this?
Currently an employee of the int. callcenter for the sales department for metro by t-mobile, although for not much longer. Feel free to ask about procedures and deal policies.
So I bought a used galaxy a54 that is still locked to network. It says not eligible to unlock. Was told it was unlocked as i needed it for tmobile. Is there a way to get it unlocked from the network or am I screwed?
Not a current Metro customer so I was wondering if the Galaxy 7 watch for $30 plus $10 line and A9+ tablet for $20 offers are still active and the devices are still in stock. If so can I go into a store, sign up for a $25 BYOD plan and then pick them up the same day or do I have to do it online and wait for shipping?
Also what is the price they charge tax on for these, shipping time like, and is there a limit to how many devices I can get?
Set up a free merch table for customers upgrading their phones or buying new lines since sales were a little low to end the month. It usually takes our store forever to get rid of T-Mobile Tuesday stuff, but it seems like a big hit!
About a year or two ago I bought a phone which I thought was brand new. Turns out it’s either stolen or someone else traded it in and never paid it off. I paid for this phone in full when I bought it. They just shut it off on me today and told me this at the metro store. I can’t even log into my account to turn off auto pay. What am I supposed to do here? I’m very irritated about this and no one seems to want to help me.
Has anyone else had an issue with slower speeds recently? Usually I have no problem with things loading on my phone or streaming video with my WiFi but recently it's been much slower and buffering.
